Decent Focus deal here, if you want a slow one:

http://www.tilsungroup.com/ford-focus-1.6-tdci-115...

12 + 24 at £100/month, so £145.83 average pcm over the 2 years. Or exactly £175 per month with the VAT on a personal lease. (£4200 in 2 years)

Spec: DAB Radio + CD, 16" alloys, air con, bluetooth, heated windshield and mirrors.

Zetec Navigator adds satnav and costs £360 extra + VAT over the contract.

Titanium Navigator is £540 + VAT more than the standard Zetec, and comes with dual zone climate, cruise control, satnav, rain-sensing wipers, automatic LED headlights

^ Good deal. Presumably that is for the new face lift model too?

so if in lease year 2, in the event of a total loss, the insurer would pay out market value, and the lease co only expect market value - i don't need gap insurance... right? Or can there be differing views of what constitutes market value??

It's henerally reccomended to get GAP on a lease. It's peanuts anyways and saves any annoying arguments.

not sure that's what i meant, i have spoken to the lease co, and in the event of a total loss in year 2, they'd want market value of the car to exit the contract. If my insurer says they are offering me market value after year 1, their words, then would i need gap? If the market values align, surely i wouldn't need to add anything to exit the contract, and that's what gap is for.

Looking for some advice. Wanting to change car and lease seems the best value way to get into something new.

Have equity in current car which I'd need dealer to take as a trade in as the deposit. Thereafter up to £200pm to spend, ideally a lease up to 24m @ 10k or 12k [personal lease] - any recommendations for dealers and vehicles ?

Car wise I need:

4 seats
boot big enough for a suitcase
bluetooth/usb/electrics & aircon
40mpg+ petrol or derv
Some nice bhp as my current 82 (dropped from 163 with last car) is unbearable

Insurance isnt an issue, I'm 33 with 14 years ncb, clean license, boring job and live in a safe area sadly smile

Peugeot 308gti deal a couple of pages back or you might even get a golf R depending on your deposit

Depends how much you have in the current car.

Golf R is £2400 up-front on a personal, then £180 per month. 300 bhp, 5 seats. Comes to £6540

You'll wait six months though.

http://www.freedomcontracts.com/Volkswagen-Golf-2....

39.8mpg combined.

Or from stock, C220 coupé:

http://www.freedomcontracts.com/Mercedes-C-Class-C...

£2084.30, plus £231.59/month. 4 seats. £7410

Or the estate:

http://www.freedomcontracts.com/Mercedes-C-Class-5...

£1595.94, plus £265.99 per month. (this might be an error though?) £7713.71

All including VAT.

You don't need to use a main dealer to take it as a trade in. We buy any car will still take the car, clear the finance and give you the difference.

There are some good deals on Honda Civc Tourers at the moment. Really quite a nice car, very well equipped to. The 1.6 diesel isn't fast, but, it's not stupidly slow, doing 0-60 in 10 seconds and still getting a claimed 78mpg so about 60+ real world driving.

On a 6 + 23, 10k, just over budget at £203.94. Better deals on that might be had, just seen that one earlier today.

Last one.

The stages (as shown on the tracker) are as follow:

1: processing order - as it sounds.

2: with the factory - parts are being ordered and are awaiting supply dates. Provisional Build Week available from VW CS or your dealer.

3: BW confirmed - all parts are at factory and they've confirmed a date for build. This will be approx 4 weeks prior to your BW.

4: Build in progress - as it sounds, although very often skipped on the tracker as actual build is only a couple of days. States is takes 4 weeks from start of build to delivery.

5a: in transit:left the factory - on it's way to Emden port.

5b: in transit:shipping - at Emden waiting a boat. Normally received 48 hours after 5a.

5c: in transit:nearly here - on boat to either Grimsby, Tyne or Sheerness depending on dealer location. At this stage VW CS can give you the name of the boat, but it sometimes skips this stage. Now states 10 days to dealer.

6. Arrived in the UK - as stated, takes up to 10 days apparently, although they try and do it within 7.

7. At dealer - just needs PDI and valet and is ready for you.

Thanks. Had nothing yet though. I'll get the missus to chase up. Would be nice to have this weekend. Even got a buyer lined up for her old car.

Has anybody seen any decent Evoque Deals please?

Seen a deal for the Evoque Autobiography and would be interested in a comparison.

Thanks
