WBAC is great providing you have a small and uniquivocally immaculate car. The bigger a car you put to them, the more they differ from a realistic price you'd actually sell it for, and every mark, scratch, ding is £100 or something with no 'bulk discounts'!

Much more BIK though.

Which is a problem with the estate and the AMG crap also - the estate bumps up the CO2, and also bumps up the list price - likewise AMG.

I'd double-check the CO2 specific though, this

http://www.tilsungroup.com/mercedes-e-class-e220-b...

claims 116g C02

but here 125g

http://www.freedomcontracts.com/Mercedes-E-Class-4...

Would be £600 extra tax.

£600 extra tax or £600 extra BIK? At £34k-ish list it would be a difference of about £680 BIK, so about £136 or £272 tax per year, £11ish/£22ish per month.

Just had an E Mail from Applied Leasing with some very attractive deals on the Golf R.

Not for me at the moment but worth a call to them, very sharp deals.

He did not. He did however say was specifically looking for an E220 or E300, which are the lowest CO2 models, so that would be my guess.

No one wants a manual.Clutch slips, can't take the torque..
Say what?? I think you are assuming everybody wants to tune their Golf R (which they couldn't if its leased anyway) - Many will be happy with the standard performance and wont ever see clutch slip until its worn out....

Its mis-information like this jibberish can put people off products.
Thankfully most people aren't stupid enough to believe stuff like that smile
there's already a thread about it
About VW fitting a not fit-for-purpose clutch to a production car? Share the link?
Honda did to the CRV and Civic, so it's not that far fetched

Just had one of my suppliers CH an E220 cab, could have had the E400 for about £20 more a month, but wanted the lower co2 model to save on road tax. It was included in the hire deal. He said he realised that but also 25% down on mpg as well.
Only doing 6000 miles a year.

So you never know, people are weird.

Decent Focus deal here, if you want a slow one:

http://www.tilsungroup.com/ford-focus-1.6-tdci-115...

12 + 24 at £100/month, so £145.83 average pcm over the 2 years. Or exactly £175 per month with the VAT on a personal lease. (£4200 in 2 years)
Much better deal here:

http://www.rivervaleleasing.co.uk/car-leasing/ford...

£136.53 pcm average, or £164.32 with the VAT. And it's the fully loaded Titanium Navigator.

From stock. Under £4k for 2 years
That is ridiculous.
So ridiculous it's gone, if it ever was. (My sister just tried to prop it this afternoon).

You'd barely notice that MPG difference on that mileage. Stupidly with company cars, I bet the Mercedes tax is stupid so worth taking the risk with DPF's etc.

BMW are really good going from a 20d engine to a 30d engine is usually only about 10 grams of Co2 difference, if that, so the tax is different is quite small.

Someone posted it on HUKD:

That will kill a deal pretty quick.
