We've been assigned a plate (on Thursday) but they've said delivery is the 5th onward. Sounds like they're holding off to get a full month of tax for it. Order was 10 days ago for a 'in stock' car.
Can we push it along? I'll pay the £20 for the extra months tax!
Haha they don't give a st how much tax you've got. It's because they want to register it in their November figures. Can we push it along? I'll pay the £20 for the extra months tax!

Anyone ever dealt with Freedom Contracts? I placed a deposit and was approved for a car that was meant to be "in stock" it's been 14 days and no sign of the car - they don't call back, or reply to emails and when I call they are all "busy" and will get back to me - seem like a bunch of cowboys to me? Has anyone ever actually got a car from them!?!?

They do exist. Have you signed anything yet? If so, probably in a cooling off period and you've been swept to one side in all honesty.I wouldn't bother emailing as it's like watching paint dry; just best to call at different times of the day and hope someone is free.

i've noticed that it now seems to be the done thing for lease brokers to ignore you for 14 days, they certainly won't do much paperwork wise other than provisionally reserve a car if it's physical, cooling off period see.Blown2CV said:

Thanks - so you guys think it's deliberate to ignore for 14 days as I can get out of the deal within the first 14 days of signing the docs? I would have thought it would be 14 days from delivery though wouldn't it?
It's terrible customer services, but sadly it is the normal with a lot of brokers. If you've spent your money with them, they can at least give you 5 minutes to acknowledge your email/phone.W4NTED said:

I almost went with them a few years ago. Communication was very, very poor and I didn't feel like a valued customer, I pulled out of the deal and been getting my cars through Scott @ Central Vehicle Leasing ever since. The Golf R will be my third through him Tuvra said:

Indeed, i've signed 2 leases in the last 2 weeks. The first one went from enquiry to delivery in 12 days, with signed order to delivery in 5 days.
The second through Scott is not due until March, but communication has been excellent and he's always very quick to return emails or phone calls.
