I think that is based on the electricity cost if you run it on battery. So if you do it for return journeys of up to 20 miles then you will.

Otherwise it's around 40mpg in petrol once the battery runs out.

The reason its so pricey is the mileage, double what most lease deals offer. Do you really need 16,000 miles a year if so I dont think leasing is going to be a good option
I do just over 12k going to work so yes.

With a PCP just say you re doing 10k miles a year, then trade it before the end rather than hand the keys back.

Of course real world it more like 45 - 50mpg but for a big 4x4 thats pretty good and of course get the first 20 miles of your journey for naff all. Its a £35k car so for £250 a month inc VAT is a good price imo

Thanks for posting all the detail, as noted elsewhere it does go up to £434 plus VAT if you take it up to 10,000 miles.
For a hugely expensive car this is pretty good going.
For anyone really interested here are the bottom-line figures:
the deposit is £3906
the monthly payments are £434
this gives you a total over the term of £13,880 to throw away which works back to £579 per month.

If anyone really was minded to go by this thing out right you'll certainly lose more than £579 a month over the first 2 years.

Sorry,My figure is above were wrong, it should be:
based on 5000 miles a year and all including VAT:
£438 per month
£3942 deposit
£14,016 total over the two-year term
giving £584 per month spreading everything over the whole term

or
based on 10,000 miles per year and including VAT:
£521 per month
£4687 deposit
£16,666 total over the 2 years
giving £690 per month spread over the whole term

There is also a middle ground 8000 mile option which pretty much sits in between these two.

Got emailed couple decent offers today

Both on a 6 + 23 contract 10,000 miles per year with Rivervale Leasing

Ford Fiesta ST-2 + Style Pack + Metallic Paint
£164.99pm
Total Payable = £4,619.72
Average Monthly Cost = £192.48
Did you go for this mate?
I thought the style pack was a free option. On Ford website its listed as a free option when leasing. But if you opt to pay cash and go through the configurator, its a £275 option.
Been looking at this thread on ST forum though and some reckon it might have only been free until end of last year.
Style Pack £275

Anyway, looked at the ST-3 on that website and its £168 a month, no options.
Stolen from a Forum: "Sat nav, EATC, convienience pack, cruise control and auto wiper/lights/rear view mirror are standard. You save £275 over spec ing these on a ST2."

Maths is not great so can you tell me how you got to £4619 all in?
When i do £193 X 23 i get to £4439
But when i add on the initial rental of £990 i get £5429 all in.

His was £164.99 a month.Times that by 23 which equals £3,794.77. Then you need to the add the deposit; so this time £164.99 times by 6 of £989.94. Add those together and you get £4,784.71. His maths was out by a hundred odd pounds, but that how it works. And to sound patronising, just trying to help, but to save you even adding them together, simply do £164.99 times by 29 (the 23 payments + 6 deposit) and you get the same number of £4,784.71. If you then divide that by 24 (the actual months you will have the car), and you get a effective monthly cost of £199.36

Now in answer to you your question, you can't get to £4,619 as that amount was wrong, or I've done something wrong which I'm pretty sure I haven't. Where have you go this £193 amount from. Is that a rounded up amount of Greg's £192.48?

Ah right, sorry my mistake, i thought the £165 was just basic with no options. I was adding on the price of the metalic paint and Style pack to my calculations.
They add £28 a month to the price over 24 months and strangly equal £193 a month, so thats where i was getting confused, thinking Greg had done the same just forgot to put the initial deposit on.
No, your post was helpful, i have a spreadsheet which a column for Initial Payment, which is why i do it seperately.
Yeah it was rounded up figure, makes £12 difference but thought if i was close enough i was working it out right, just couldn't get to the total figure originally.

This isn't the Ghibli, this is the full fat four-door supercar (cough!), bigger than an LWB 7 Series.

This lease is seriously cheap for what it is but you can get a 730d for similar money on a lease (even though they can be had under £40k for cash!) although apart from exclusivity value, I'm not sure the Maser is better at any money.

Some lease deals for comparison (excluding VAT and any document fees, 10,000 miles):

740i SE - £10,628.80 http://www.fleetprices.co.uk/business-lease-cars/b...

740Li SE - £11,639 http://www.fleetprices.co.uk/business-lease-cars/b...

(Currently the 740i is 1% BIK higher than the Quattroporte Diesel, though from 2016-17 tax year it will be 4% higher)

730d SE £11,040 http://www.goldautocontracts.com/business-lease-ca... (8,000 miles)

None of the other cars have particularly competitive leases at the moment.

Obviously a lease is ludicrously cheaper than buying, I'd expect a new one to shed around £30k in 2 years, so it's not hard to do the maths.

Slightly cheaper contract cost here:

http://www.appliedleasing.co.uk/business-lease-car...

Basically £10 less per month, so £320 over the contract, but £250 higher admin fee.
