Slight distraction from tax matters.

I'm looking at lease options for the first time, and finding too many options.

Can anyone point me at a decent deal as a starting point?

Looking for a vw tiguan, or similar. Must be awd. Decent spec

20k miles

Any suggestions welcome

i've got mine. Washed and armourall'd it today ready for Winter, and it's fking great, really cheap, couldn't be happier. Personal lease, no ttting around. Saw it, got it, no endless deliberation and debating what's acceptable or not before 'pulling the trigger' as it were. You?
@Blown2CV. You seem angry... It's a discussion forum about leases. If we end up talking about how long we cook our pasta for, or reply to everything with "MX5" then please rant away...

Chill. smile

Have a look on Leasingoptions.uk
Got some good Tiguan Match 4motion deals on there last time I looked, Ford Kuga too. Quite easy to navigate the site to get prices for mileage.

I'm in the process of reading back further but fairly new to lease so some things are not making sense, like the amount of Fiesta 125 zetec s deals for just north of £100. It actually costs more for the slower versions...

Anyway i had wanted to get a DS3 but as its only 2 years the fiestas are tempting me despite having some issues fith fit & finish and generally being a bit more boring.

Just wondered if anyone could help me make sense of it as 170ish for a half decent DS3 vs 105ish for a Fiesta 125 when list is fairly similar? Was wondering if its just a hallmark of lease that manufacturers really push a certain model.

Ignore list prices with leasing. It all depends on the residual values and how much support is thrown at the product by the manufacturer.

Just thought I'd mention a positive experience today at my local Ford dealer. Went in to enquire about leasing and whilst they did try and steer me towards a PCP deal instead, said that they would do lease and basically should be able to match any deal I can find online. I gave some example figures I'd seen on Gateway2Lease for the Fiesta ST-3 and he did seem surprised at how good the prices were but said he was sure they could match it.

Needless to be say I'll be popping back to see them once christmas is out of the way to sort a deal out!
Glad you got a good result... my experience with a Ford dealer was the polar opposite! The missus and I got evicted from the bloody car they had prepared to let us test-drive on our second visit.

Hello All,

Fingers over the trigger for an Audi RS4, I've shopped around and found this. (Standard business contract hire, will run it through the books, BIK might kill me though!!)

Audi RS4
Misano Red Pearl
Privacy Glass
Audi Parking System Advanced
Power Increase (174 MPH)
12,000 pa
6+35
Road tax included
£592.00+VAT

Does it sound good to the lease heads out there.......?

To me...it doesn't look that attractive.

A 3 year /10k pa PCP with those options and circa £8k discount will see your payments of £700 a month with a £3500 deposit and no BIK. All prices include vat.
AGK , can I ask where you are getting your figures from please as I am in the market for an RS4 and currently pricing around for the best deals. Any help great fully received...

Discounted price available from DriveTheDeal (have used them for a few Audi's in the past).

Got the 3 year GFV value and interest rate from the Audi finance offers page here : http://www.audi.co.uk/explore-models/latest-offers...

You can then pop the figures in here and play about with deposit to get a rough idea : www.pcpcal.co.uk

Don't take this as a dig, but why go to the bother when you're not ready to commit? Lease deals change often, and sure as heck they'll change next year as we go in to Q1

It is quite cheap but depends on whether you can put up with the base spec. The Laredo gets the 188 bhp engine rather than the 247bhp engine in the other models.

It also only gets cloth, no parking sensors as standard etc.

There was a deal on a few weeks ago for a few Limited models which was good value but they have all gone now.

It would appear that the DtD websites don't work out so economical after all when it comes to a PCP.
I had a quote this afternoon, which started off well with an £8k saving on the list price but when I compared that with the dealer offer, who was contributing towards the deal (rather than reducing the list which amounts to the same). It would be cheaper to go with the dealer even though they were putting in £2k less.

I cannot get my head around this to be honest?

What are you struggling to understand?

If what you say is correct then the dealer you spoke to was simply willing to offer a greater discount than DtD believe they can get for you from one of their affiliated dealers.

The bit I don't understand is that the monthly repayment though the dealer was sub £700/month. DtD was over £750. The dealer was contributing just under £7k, DtD just under £9k.

I think he's comparing an 8k discount via Dtd with a dealer offer where the dealer contribution was less than 8k but still a cheaper deal overall, possibly because he's comparing PCP with lease? Or different finance rates. Dealer contribution and list price discount aren't the only factors to consider.

Same term/mileage etc?

What were the GFV offered by DtD?

Silverous, I was comparing the same! DtD just have a prefered dealer supplier, the calculation is all the same through Volkswagen finance.
The curious thing is how a headline saving of £2k with DtD didn't translate to a cheaper per month price... both dealers and DtD seem reluctant to share the finance breakdowns, I'm guessing to try and limit the "shopping around"?

The dealer also gets rebates on volume of sales
