You're way too late for the R and 135i.

Some deals on ST cars for not really in same league as the above.

Maybe wait for new year?

That's what the plan is, its not long left for the new year anyway so its just a waiting game, but this thread needs updating whenever a stonking deal is seen.

When leasing do you have to do anything special for insurance? Are you listed as the owner? Do you need GAP insurance? etc...
Can anyone confirm this? The lease company remains the owner but do they list you as the registered keeper of the vehicle? There appears to be a 50% difference in the insurance price if you are not.

Might depend on who you are with, i asked the question for our lease and was told the funders are the owners and i was the registered keeper, the funders would keep hold of the V5.

Anything that won't be 1.2 and deadly slow for £150-200 a month?

Cheers. Who was that with? I'm currently looking at a car on Gateway2Lease and hoping they have a similar policy (waiting for a call back when they open again).

I got one 161 per month including vat and maintenence. 10k per annum 2 year lease.
It's a great fund quick little car. Is keeping me occupied while the noble is in hibernation for the winter.

Rivervale but the funder is Alphabet so I guess it's up to the funder.

Hello. Been following this thread for a while and it's a great source of info.

My parents are looking for something on a 3year lease. Needs to be auto and pref diesel. Something like a golf or focus would be ideal. Any good deals around. Would like to pay max 250pm fully maintained of course. Thanks

If you go on Leasing Options website it should allow you to filter for size, fuel, transmission and price. Difficult to get a price to include maintainance but if you allow 10% its a rough start.

You might squeeze into a GTD for that money but obviously it depends on your mileage and the amount they are willing to put in as a deposit.

BMW 125d has been on offer very recently, 3dr manual was about £216 on 6+23 so might be worth looking at.

Does anyone know why the 35 and 47 month deals tend to have higher monthly rates compared to 23 month deals? It seems counter intuitive, surely depreciation is higher in the first two years so the costs must be higher?

Because the mileage is higher, vehicle is more spent so depreciated more

Which is surely taken care of by the increased number of payments, but doesn't explain the higher monthly amount.
