Mine turns up on a week on Tuesday so I think it's pretty good! It's £9 a month for style pack and about 30p to go to 10k miles pa.
That's very tempting, how long was your build time if you don't mind me asking?

I pulled the trigger at the weekend on a Mercedes C200 Estate AMG line trim, with Mettalic & auto box on a 6/23 for £270.00, was a bit more than I wanted to spend but when you factor in Paint,Autobox & Mileage allowance on the 5K deals advertised it turns out not to be that bad.
What mileage is that deal on?

that is cheap motoring!

My wife has a Seat Mii (it's 'top of the range' though so better spec) but it is a great little car.

That certainly isn't a lot of money to run a new car, though the payment profile is an amusing 15+23.

Good deals on the SEAT Leon FR - it's the 150bhp version not the more powerful one but it's a nice spec for the money. Apparently availability is very limited. Currently three different metallic colours available, Silver, Grey or Black.

The rates also don't go through the roof at high mileages like a lot of the deals - I got a quote back at £25k p/a which works out to £7300 over the two years.

Can anyone suggest some good reading regarding leasing through a business, BIK calculations etc? Basically, my partner needs another car, so I'm trying to determine the costs between leasing through my business and private leasing and what other implications I may need to consider.

Yeah, this thread about 100 pages back. Summary is "don't put it through your company" but search BIK on the thread and see what comes up.

Many thanks. That was my gut feeling. Personal maybe cost more but it's more flexible with regards to my work situation.

Perhaps more accurate to say only put through your company if very low CO2 - but you need to take into account income tax, corporation tax, VAT and national insurance as well as any differences in lease rates, servicing, winter tyres etc. I'm an accountant with my own company but never found any major advantage with anything I want to drive to go through the company (Tesla the exception but too expensive and not sure I could manage the occasional 300-mile round trip in a day that I will need to do about once every 6 weeks)

Has anyone had any experience with www.smartlease.co.uk

They have a Skoda Octavia VRS Blackline for a great price, website isn't the most inspiring however.

Cheers smile

Not as cheap as that! Never heard of Solent, but that's cheap. The one I looked at was £300 a month for a 24 month contract.

Edit: It was for the Blackline which is the special edition VRS however.
