PCP'd ours.
14k down (they put in 2k), £350/month - 3 year deal. Full spec Dynamic - pan roof, keyless, service plan, privacy, etc...
Ended up getting the best deal from LR in Glasgow - Taggarts I think theyre called.
Initially we went to buy a used, trading up from a Ford Kuga, but the residuals are so strong a used car just didn't make sense.
I was a bit worried going for an Evoque, more the misses that pushed for it. But wow what a great piece of kit, very impressed and a good step up from the Kuga.
Am I missing something or does that seem a horrendously expensive/bad deal?

I looked at an evoque for my wife last year and n a pcp it was £320 per month with a £3000 deposit
Are comparing apples with apples? Full Spec Dynamic with the toys is £50k +

Pov spev entry model is sub £30k...

It's about right for the spec of the car, annual mileage, etc.

Sure you can get a cheaper evoque cheaper. So go for it.

Lots of ifs and what ifs and you coulds in this thread. I'm sure everyone else can always do better.

Just sharing our actual experience. Which is proving to be a happy one.
I'm not having a go, and if your happy with it that's fine, I just thought it was a bad deal. The one I got a quote for last year was £41k to buy outright.

Personally and we are all different, I wouldn't be happy giving 14k and that monthly payment but as I say each to their own

Guys

Just after a bit of general advice here as have no experience of leasing/PCP. Are there any companies that specialises in higher than average annual mileage say 15-20k or is that just reflected in either increased monthly payments or the exit penalty payment for the additional mileage over that specified in the leasing agreement.

Any feedback appreciated here.

Thanks

Most, if not all will quote for higher mileages, you'll generaly have to ring or email.
Maybe the deals will be good, maybe they'll be horrendous!

A few to look at online to get an idea are

allcarleasing.co.uk
firstvehicleleasing.co.uk ( although they look expensive)
http://www.centralukvehicleleasing.co.uk

should be a good start

Does this sound like a real deal?

VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN DIESEL ESTATE 2.0 TDi BlueMotion Tech Match 5dr [2WD]

£89.99 per month + VAT for 23 months
£2000 inital payment + VAT

Total cost per month including VAT = £203/month

Sounds too good to be true to me for a £25k car.

Any thoughts?

5000 miles. Which is fine as my wife only does about 3500 per year

There was a bit of chat about that deal previously. It is indeed a very good price. There is a new Tiguan due within the next 6 - 12 months so I think they are starting to clear stocks of the current model.

I have not leased before so was wondering if some companies advertise these deals but just to get you talking to them but dont actaully have any cars avaiable on the advertised deal. If you see what I mean

As I understand it they are just brokers for a deal - they aren't carrying stock, they are accessing manufacturer delivery allocations (or build to order)?

That deal looks like one from centralukvehicleleasing.co.uk

I am about to have my second car from them; the first went back on Friday.

That was a Mercedes E220 from stock for £224 + VAT on a 6+23 two years ago. This one is a Golf on £1,500 + VAT down and £99.99 + VAT (so £1,800/£120 with) and while it's certainly taken a while to get here, it's stuck to the agreed schedules precisely. I'd have no concerns about whether or not they are genuine - sure you might have to add on some miles, and I don't believe this is a physical car from stock so the supply chain might not be perfect, but it won't be the case that they've just sold the last one but they can get you one just like it for only £100 a month more on the same deal.

Is that the same deal that I detailed earlier today. If so I will definitely be going ahead with it.

I don't really know much about diesels but seeing as the DPF isnt covered, how likely is it that it would fail given a lot of these deals are 5k miles/year?

That's nothing to do with leasing, if you're driving 5k miles a year in a diesel and the DPF fails, what does that have to do with the method through which you acquired the car?
