Hang on a second though...if you work for a sole trader (which seems counter-intuitive to me, isn't a sole trader a single person) aren't you an employee ? As an employee do you qualify for "business" lease deals anyway?
No, you are the business, it's not a separate entity. We're at risk of going down this plughole again. Blown2CV said:

Seems to be a bit of a lull in the great offers seen of late...
It's generally quite cyclical, we've had the end-of-calendar year rush now. Most likely the next lot of silly deals will be on the run up to plate change in March and just after the plate change for those manufacturers who've got over-supply issues. That doesn't exclude the chance that a specific car might suddenly crop up at a silly-cheap rate but I wouldn't expect too much until a bit later in the year.

It seems to me that some of the deals are driven by impending facelifts, is that a fair assessment? That doesn't exclude the chance that a specific car might suddenly crop up at a silly-cheap rate but I wouldn't expect too much until a bit later in the year.

That's what I've noticed over the last 9 months of toying with having a lease, but some just seem to pop up randomly. My dad always bought the run-out models just before the new one came out as he reckoned all the common faults discovered by the end user would have likely to been rectified during the lifetime of the model.

Not a bad approach but then you end up driving round seeing all the new models around you and that gets to me after a while My dad always bought the run-out models just before the new one came out as he reckoned all the common faults discovered by the end user would have likely to been rectified during the lifetime of the model.

As someone who has only ever had one brand new car, it's never bothered me, and these days the facelift or new model can look barely any different to the new one, but you can be thousands better off!
Enquired about the several Fiesta ST deals mentioned in the last few pages today.
Turns out they're pretty much gone (unless anyone knows any new ones??)
So with that in mind, does anyone know of any hot hatch offers or fun cars for £175-190 a month?
Also considering PCP is the deal is there. Thanks.

Sounds like a good deal, where is it from if you don't mind me asking?
In response to the poster saying 4 years is a long time, if it's a PCP deal you could just voluntarily terminate and hand back once 50% has been paid
So about 40 months then !In response to the poster saying 4 years is a long time, if it's a PCP deal you could just voluntarily terminate and hand back once 50% has been paid
Deal sounds great. £28k paid over 4 years for a car which looks to £35k+ by the looks of the classifieds.
Would love further details - I'd sign up tomorrow morning.
Ps Assuming it is a new one

The ultimate all weather family/business workhorse?
Shame I'm not in the position to sign up for a lease as I'm in the process of looking to move house.

5k pa mileage allowance is pretty poor though - I wonder what the price is for a more realistic allowance (or the excess)?http://www.clvr.org.uk/personal-lease-cars/skoda/o...
