Good deal on the face of it, but a £2600 deposit? No thanks..
And no mention of the mileage, bet it's something useless like 5k.

I'm close to running with one of these Toureg R deals. Does anyone know a friendly VW dealer in (or) around London?
Any VW dealer should deliver a lease car to you FoC so you can get it from anywhere.
Yep, show them the freedom prices and ask their lease manager if he can better it. I'm not certain but I think the support for getting the Touareg's might run out at the end of this month so you'll have to be quick. That's unless the deals at the beginning of April are better!
Yep. My local dealer is notoriously poor though, so doubt they'll entertain a price match. Anyone know a good VW dealer who is a bit more appreciative of new biz. More than happy to travel smile
Don't get too hung up on travelling to a better dealer than your local one, just you go see the car in your local dealer, if you like it but their price is not great then just go with the Freedom deal, mine only beat it by just over £100 over 24 months, but had one in stock. As I posted earlier I think the discount on the Touareg ends this month and I presume these relatively cheap leases too. If you like it pull the trigger this week.
It's a hell of a lot of a car for the money, mine arrived this morning and I'm more than happy I chopped the E Class estate to get it. To me, even though I've only done 40 miles or do of mixed driving, it is superior in all areas. I think I'm going to enjoy running it.

The only 330d I can see on blue chilli is a GT X drive, it's on 8k miles a year.

Why is get hung up on the deposit, it's a 9+23 deal, you should worry what the total figures is Shirley? It comes to under £10k.
Here http://www.bluechillicars.com/business-contract-hi...

And here it's is on 3+23 rates this time with vat to make it easier, still roughly the same total mind.... http://www.bluechillicars.com/personal-contract-hi...

Just put in an order on the Octavia vRS TDI. My local dealer were able to match the Simpsons deal and throw in maintenance (in exchange for slightly shafting me on my PX, by way of some kind of mutual understanding).

Summary:
Skoda Octavia vRS TDI 5dr Hatch
24 months
8k mpa (7.2p/mile excess inc. VAT)
£1500 deposit inc. VAT
£199 per month inc. VAT

Also supposedly current build orders (including mine) are supposedly having the basic sat nav added to them FOC. Dealer reckoned that they may be about to alter the standard spec.
Good effort thumbup That's a good deal you got there.

I've just ordered my wife a Yeti with one of the deals mentioned a good few pages back. Good deals to be had on Skodas at the mo smile

Thanks, good to know I didn't get ripped off too badly on my first attempt! Always thought I would be a used-car cash-buyer, but I think I've been converted.

Chopping in a 60-plate Insignia that I've owned for under 18 months. In that time its cost me £900+ in servicing, brakes, misc repairs, etc., will need 4 new tyres by the end of the year (£600), cambelt and DMF are on the horizon (£1k+), and it has managed to depreciate a further £2k from the not-very-much I paid for it.

So for barely much more money per year than I've been sinking into a frankly censored car I get a brand new, fully maintained car that isn't my concern if it turns out to be a lemon or residuals don't hold up. Who wants equity in a bill-generator anyway?

That's not great. Total cost over the term is about 40% of RRP. See above - circa20% is a good deal.

Are your kids of an age for Child seats with side head rests? If so I can't see side rear airbags being any use?
A rather strange coincidence this, but I took my 4 year old to tescos earlier and noticed on the passenger door frame of my 2007 BMW 325 coupe a sticker advising against using a child seat with a head rest near the side airbag!

Never noticed this before, on my car or any other car before....

Adds up to £26k / 36 months for a 270bhp diesel XF / 5-series / E-class equivalent. Give me a 535d any day.

I would urge anyone to google the pics, the interior alone puts a 535 to shame

Depending where you live, after sales support could be an issue.

When I looked at one at the Trafford Centre last summer, they told me the nearest dealership was in Birmingham.

Things could have improved since then though.

What about stratstone Wilmslow?

Failing that, there are at least 2 Ferrari and Maser specialists in Knutsford area.

Hi all. New member who is new to leasing.

I've never leased a car but been looking at them of late. After a quick browse of the last few pages or so on this thread a couple of things have caught my eye.

Seat Leon FR diesel (can't remember how much, but seemed a good deal)
Fabia VRS Diesel for £199 via hotukdeals.

I was extremely tempted to go the leasing route a couple of times last year when I saw great offers for both Focus ST3's and Golf R's for around £175 a month! But I wasn't in a position to move quickly enough to snap them up unfortunately.

I'm looking to spend no more than £250 a month inc VAT and my annual mileage is about 8000 miles. So if the deal is good I would go down to 5000 then pay the excess if it worked out cheaper.

I guess I'm asking for help, tips, and anything anybody sees that might be of interest for a decent fun car as above.

thanks
