Is £250 pcm the total you want to be paying or do you want to put a deposit to it.
You can get a golf gti for 250 a month if you put 2k deposit down....
I'd be willing to place a deposit upfront, yes. I've seen a few posts quoting 3+23 etc. £2000 is quite a heavy deposit. So I'd shy away from one as large as that, although I am tempted by this! You can get a golf gti for 250 a month if you put 2k deposit down....

Been offered a golf GTD over 24 months, 30,000 miles total, £300 per month inc VAT (deposit averaged into the monthly)
That's £7,200 total.30k miles is 14k excess mileage, so £1,008.
That's £6,192 over two years on an 8k deal, or £5,760 on a 5k deal.
Central works out at £5,712 for a 5k p.a. and that excludes the admin fee, I think, so your deal looks pretty good.
It might still be worth adjusting the mileage and paying per mile at the end, and it is certainly worth confirming the excess mileage charge.

Are you at liberty to say who it's from Trailhead?

have they told you you're looking at a 5month wait for a GTD? ruled it out for me...
Mmm you can get them a bit quicker than that, it really depends on quite a few different factors such as spec and the supplying dealer.sambasams said:

If you want one right now, people in other forums have mentioned VW VIP events (open to anyone really) where you get get £500 contribution and "acceptable" PCP APR rates on used/ex-demo/pre-reg models. Trailhead said:
That was from central!
Deposit £2400
Monthly £143.99 x 23 = £3,311.77
Excess miles 20,000 x 7.2p = £1,440
Total = £7,151.44
Ie £297.97 per month (inc vat)!
Ah but you've excluded the admin fee in your calculations. Very good deal either way through. Seems to have been over-shadowed by the R deals.Deposit £2400
Monthly £143.99 x 23 = £3,311.77
Excess miles 20,000 x 7.2p = £1,440
Total = £7,151.44

£305.47 then!

That Golf TDI GTD deal looks OK, but when BMW 125D were £270 (all inc) for 2yrs 15k 1+23 it makes me feel that better Golf-esque car deals will again be on offer.
Not bad, however that is half the mileage of the GTD lease (unless you mean 15,000 miles per annum rather than the total over the lease!)Tonberry said:
£6500 to do 25k PA over 2 years in a Tiguan sounds pretty good to me.
Anyone know what the early termination fees are likely to be, after say 12 months.
More than the remaining payments.Anyone know what the early termination fees are likely to be, after say 12 months.
If you terminate a VW lease early, you get a discount of 4% PA (I believe) on the outstanding payments in lieu of interest, but you also get the mileage allowance prorated.
Basically, if you are seriously considering early termination, go HP or PCP.
