Any decent business deals left on the Golf R? Looking for a 24 month deal with 10k pa and ideally 3 or 6 months upfront. Whilst I'm asking, any A3 sportback petrol deals in comparison? Either 1.4 tsi or 1.8. Different cars but my mates dad is looking at the A3 sportback to replace his recently deceased RX8 and we are trying to sway him to the Golf R.

Not sure whether to start a new thread for this - will ask questions here first. This is specifically around returning your leased vehicle.

  • Has anyone had significant issues returning a vehicle (e.g. being charged unfairly for damage).
  • Had issues where a vehicle is due a service activity very close to the return date (just before or after)
  • Had issues with MOT's on 3 year leases
Please comment if you have had good experiences as well as bad, so we get a balanced view.

You might be better off starting a new thread. People get antsy when this thread even looks like it might go off-topic. smile

anyone know of any stock deals for something with a bit of poke... 3/4/5 series BMW, or an audi (bigger than an a3) or simmilar. I'm in a e class 220 cdi at the moment... hence wanting a more poke.

say more than 200bhp..

looking at a TCO of £10k over 2 years.

You mean the GTD. The GT TDI is 150bhp. Different cars.

This would meet your criteria, assuming the mileage allowance is sufficient.

TCO is £10494.30. Car has 313bhp. Shifts a bit.

That is a lovely motor.. just a little too much though. I am looking at an average monthly cost of £400 = £9600. I should have been more exact.

However they may have this in stock http://www.gateway2lease.com/z_bmw_3-seriessaloon_...

that still ticks the boxes.. is that looking like a good deal?

For comparison if you looked at a Luxury instead of an Msport, you get Pro-Nav included for £317 inc VAT for 10k miles (doesn't state the additional mileage cost).

I have ordered this car from CVL, slightly lower overall cost but 9 months up front:

Seems about right, Freedom have the same at virtually an identical cost, albeit a higher admin fee. I'd personally prefer a non-xDrive car too.

My only slight gripe with the M-Sport trim is that the standard 18" wheels look a bit puny, and you have to pay extra for xenons and sun protection glass.
