I'm looking for a deal for my daughter, small hatch such as an Aygo/C1/Up size car, 2 year max, around £120/month 10k/yr, I've found a new C1 on Lings on a 3+11 at £119 which looks good but the daughter (bless her) doesn't like the headlamps, anyone seen anything else?
I'm not sure how comfortable I'd be as a Citroen C1 salesman, or a broker, telling a daughter in front of her father that she could have a Touch or a Feel....

If it gets a discount...

I realise they are sought after, but amortised that works out at £417.5 pm for a relatively poverty spec 2WD manual rough 4 pot diesel !! Madness, when you think I got a high specced 4wd auto 3ltr V6 Touareg for that.......i must have made the wrong choice....

If you can settle for the Seat Leon FR 184ps instead (Same chasis, engine, gearbox and a few other bits) then there's a great deal at Plan leasing in Essex. It's on a reasonable 10k miles PA, not 5k or anything like that

That's the headline deal, I've gone for a DSG version with Tech pack and 12k miles per annum, fully maintained. £285 per month with one months deposit (1+23)

I currently own an 09 Renault Laguna Coupe 180 and when I factor in the cheaper insurance, no MOT's, no servicing, at least 30% better MPG, no road tac etc. The new Leon isn't actually that much more expensive and I have the luxury of a new car.
I've ordered the Leon FR 184 too for my wife from Plan. Manual, 10k p/a, 3+23, tech pack, convenience pack, 18'' wheels and some other bits inc. maintenance pack for £245-ish a month. Got to be a good deal. Delivery in July. We looked at the GTD too, but spec is far more basic for at least £75 more per month & the lead times are ridiculous.
Looking at these too, with DSG and possibly maintenance.
What's the excess mileage with and without maintenance?

I have a deal going through on this one and it's 6ppm with maintenance. Don't believe it's any different without, but may be mistaken. I've opted for manual, with white paint, £242 p/m 1+23. Lead times are really short on non-DSG - should be less than 6 weeks.

The excess mileage charge is more when you go for the maintenance pack the as the car is maintained even after your mileage limit.
So, for example if you take a maintained 12k per annum deal like me but you actually do 29k miles (ie 5k miles over)
You'll pay 5000 miles excess * 0.1116 (My excess mileage rate) = £558 additional charge. (Or about £250 extra over the top of std non maintained lease deal) However due to doing more miles, you are likely to need two front tyres, maybe brake pads etc. So the additional excess charge covers the extra maintenance you incur through going over contracted mileage.

That 500 deal is good. Got me thinking about one as a commuter. 20k miles pa on a 1+47 for £146 p/m incl VAT. The excess mileage charge vs monthly payment means it works out cheaper to take the higher mileage contract rather than pay the excess mileage charge - it's only £10p/m more than 15k pa and only £20p/m more than 10k pa.

That's cheap motoring. Hard to see a car retaining much value over 80k miles in 4 yrs! Total cost is approx £7k over 4 yrs for 20k pa. Dropping the mileage to 10k pa is approx £6k over 4 yrs, so obv it makes the most sense if you hammer miles on it.

Not a terrible spec for a runabout either. Certainly better than my old citroen c1 that i currently use.

I'd use some other sites too.
Allcarleasing.co.uk is very configurable
Gateway2lease have a steady stream of good deals
Centraluk gets lots of mentions, as do Freedom.
I've noticed that on ch&l many companies only put the high deposit/low mileage stuff in.
If that's what you want, great.

All? Ok.
I just found it limited the responses to low mileage deals for some companies.

I guess 6ppm with maintenance included is still pretty good then!

I posted the link because, being completely ignorant, I assumed the 350e would be based on a decent petrol enginer rather more like the 6-cylinder 3-er active hybrid. Just reading some reviews and thinking 'meh'.

I'm going for a BMW 1 series, 5 door, black, automatic, 1.6 dynamic, drivers comfort pack and BMW Navigation. Can anyone let me know if all BMW dealerships are the same as far as leasing is concerned. I'm after a 3+23 month deal, but as it's my first venture into this type of thing I'm feeling a bit lost.

Do you need to restrict yourself to BMW dealerships? I get the sense that they prefer PCP to lease and so you may find you get a better choice of deal by being open to the entire lease market?

No, not tied at all. I looked on Whatcar and a BMW dealership came up, but if someone else was better/cheaper that would suit well!

They aren't all the same. I tried going direct to a few BMW dealerships when I got my M135i, they all came out with different figures, the closest was about £40 a month more than the price I got from a broker. I ultimately went through the broker, paid no fees and collected from/dealt with a BMW main dealership once the paperwork was out of the way.
