Best lease car deals available?

Think I am going to order one at 1+17. Do miniscule miles but lots of country lanes, pretty much perfect for me.

That deal's also from Central.
You can also have £129.99 + VAT on a 1+17.
That's actually cheaper all in, and if it is written off you've only lost one month's deposit if you have gap insurance.

Hi
Does anyone have any experience of Audi Solutions PCP deals. Got a new S3 on PCP last week. Never had a brand new car before, always bought outright (with bank loan) and never done PCP before. The deal is over 4 years but I've been told by a few people that the dealership will be in touch well before the end of the term to offer me a new car for roughly the same payments. So they get back a fairly new car with low miles to sell second hand and I get a fresh S3....sounds like win/win...or too good to be true.
Does this actually happen or will Audi prefer to let the deal run to it's conclusion and I'll have to hope the vehicle is worth more than it's GMFV in order to have some deposit for another one?
Any tales/experience/advice appreciated!
Thanks
AndyMac

You can trade it in and buy a new car whenever you like. Depending on how much your deposit was and the interest rate of your loan, you may or may not be in negative equity. Cheapest I've seen is this GTI deal, not sure if its good/bad but it is 5 door & 15k miles per year and comes with PP.
That looks like a damn good deal. What I dont understand is if you go to Volkswagen dealer the Golf GTI and GTD ate similat list prices but you can get a better discount on the GTI.
With leasing you can get plenty of deals for the GTD for 2 years for less than £6500 but to lease a GTI the best deal is about £8500.

Is this offer for the 208 gti? How did you get a quote with only one month up front?
Centralukvwhicleleasing sent out an email with the 1 upfront deal. I believe most brokers can offer lower upfront deals, you just have to ask them. Most offer the higher upfront deals as they know that most people like to convince themselves that their car is "only costing me £xxx per month" - I always work out the whole term deal, and I guess the larger upfront reduces the finance interest charges slightly, but having seen what happened to the guy who had his Golf R nicked, I'd be happier with a low initial payment.

This STD 2 with nav deal doesn't seem too bad.
Shame they look a bit of a mess. Can you damage limitate by choosing a particular colour?

Thanks for info, Im looking at buying the 208 Gti as i little bit of fun for 18 months for the price it is atm, Also would you recommend getting the GAP insurance for this vehicle with it being such a low upfront fee? i don't really understand GAP insurance. if i don't get it and it was written off in say 2 weeks wouldnt my insurance cover it and i wouldnt lose out as such due to the low deposit? Most offer the higher upfront deals as they know that most people like to convince themselves that their car is "only costing me £xxx per month" - I always work out the whole term deal, and I guess the larger upfront reduces the finance interest charges slightly, but having seen what happened to the guy who had his Golf R nicked, I'd be happier with a low initial payment.

DEFINITELY get GAP insurance. The lease terms will probably say what the lease company is entitled to if the car is written off.
It is possible that that amount will be more than the market value. What if the lease company will only settle for list price, whereas the retail value of the car is likely to be far below? You'll also be liable for all the lease payments even if the car is written off.
If you get GAP it won't be your problem. Just make sure it's the kind of GAP that is designed for contract hire deals.
With GAP you'd only lose your first month's deposit. Without it, in the worst case scenario, you could be left liable for more than the total cost of the lease.
Hi guys
Blatant plug for that free car financing calculator website I put together. Just updated the car selection so thought I'd mention it again on here in case its of interest.

The best deal I've seen recently was on the 208 GTi - already discussed. Not seen as many as usual though so guess they're gearing for next month perhaps?

Anyone found out what the excess mileage is on the 208 gti yet? I'm abroad and my email is a bit stuffed. I was going to sell my e92 and replace it with an old estate, but thinking I could use my wife's frv for house resto purposes if her and the 3 kids can fit in the 208. Shame it isn't 5 door....
Also, any idea what real world mixed mpg would be on the 208?
