Anyone fancy a 640i GC for £336 + VAT on a 6+23 10k deal with AVC? Seems good value for a 60k car.
Anyone got a link please.

Thanks for the replies. The link to the BMW 335d looks very tempting, although I suspect that I shall need to wait until the autumn to order at which point the deals will likely have changed. Would prefer the 330d (although would go for 335d if cheaper) so may look at something similar in the autumn when the first LCI cars have been delivered and configurator is up and running. For example, I would like to know what the confirmed/available options are and the nationwide website doesn't currently show the 442m wheels (shows some 18" ones as standard).

Cheers,

That's a very good deal but it's an SE. Personally I'd pay about £30 more and get the M sport.

One thing about leasing, it's often prohibitively expensive to cherry pick options as you effectively pay the full option price over the term.

Want those £850 wheels? £35 extra per month, please!

When you consider that could be 10% of the cost of the whole car you can see why many lease/PCP cars are standard production.

Also, many of the very best deals you'll see on here are on cars that have been built (or at least ordered) and are waiting for buyers so you have to be slightly flexible on colour, spec etc. to bag one of those.

This has always been my problem when I've looked at BMWs, even the M Sport standard spec is pretty lacking in some respects. Most of the cars you see on the road have the optional 19" wheels and privacy glass, but on a lease they're going to be extra, and without them the car looks very ordinary to me.

Thanks, some good points to consider. Yes sounds like it's wise to try to keep a vanilla spec otherwise it gets expensive, although I agree with Andrew, in this case the 19" wheels really make the car so would be willing to spec them.

Okay will keep an eye on this thread for the next few months and maybe look to order something in the autumn. Off to the Festival of Speed this weekend for inspiration!

There are sometimes deals that come up from time to time that include upgraded wheels (G2L are offering a 420i GC at the moment that specifically lists them). You'd have thought the standard wheels would be fairly detrimental to the resale value and as such wouldn't add much to the lease.

A friend is looking for a mid-size diesel SUV. Just missed a nice Ford Kuga deal, anyone know of any other deals on this type of car?

Would a Skoda Yeti meet the mid-sized diesel SUV? If so, there are plenty of links over the past few pages.

Really tempted by this 5dr Cooper SD Automatic deal.

£1512 up front (6x)
23 x £252 per month
£180 admin fee

£7487 over the two years. Includes Media Pack and Chilli Pack too. We went to look at one at the local dealers today and my wife quite liked it.

My only qualm is that it's still quite small despite being the 5dr, and we've got a 2-year-old and his stuff to cart around.

Other options are Qashqai, which just seems a bit too conformist (as daft as that is), or maybe the Jeep Renegade!

ETA: Just found the same car with Blue Chilli for £6613.71.

Thats quite expensive, for £1000 less you could get a Volkswagen Golf GTD from Freedom and a far nicer car.

You'd need to include DSG on the GTD to make it a fair comparison.

What is the excess mileage on the Cooper SD?

How come business leasing is cheaper than personal?

1) VAT - the Business prices are quoted without it, the personal are quoted with.
2) Marketing. Manufacturers trying not to dent their private buyer revenue stream by not making it any cheaper than PCP

Thanks!

I've seen both with VAT included and it was still cheaper than the personal one, it makes sense.

Indeed, they also have an estate for £5 more.
