GAP insurance.

Assuming this is a good thing to have, is £350 good value on a £41.5k BMW 335d?

I don't think anyone has been able to provide a link to any worthwhile GAP product for leased cars, at least that cures the problem of the up-front-payment if the car is stolen on Day 2 of 'ownership'.

Sounds on the expensive side to me - I paid £215 for 2 years on my C63 (£60k). From directgap.

I really don't know how many times this needs to be explained...

For what value? You get specific GAP insurance for lease.
I have cover for the wifes lease Fiesta ST through https://gapinsurance123.co.uk/
£7500 cover for 2yrs was £69.

Thank you, £350 is what the lease company quoted. I'll get some quotes.
Apologies for post if this has been done to death.

Hi all, way back in Sept 2013 i started this thread and its been really interesting since, with all the cracking deals available...

I ended up buying a used 320 cdi Mercedes CLS and not leasing, a year and a half on im looking to lease in a month or two:

Whats available at the moment? Im looking for:

24 month lease
20k miles per year
45mpg plus
Diesel
Dont mind 3 or 6 month deposit
Needs to be a decent spec model, dont mind estate, saloon, auto, manual

I will be seeing some customers in the car so a nice motor is needed, dont mind current, older models etc, colour not that important...

Any decent 320d m sport deals available or c class merc deals?

E Class or CLS would be cheaper at the moment. What sort of budget are you looking at?

Really tempted by this 5dr Cooper SD Automatic deal.

£1512 up front (6x)
23 x £252 per month
£180 admin fee

£7487 over the two years. Includes Media Pack and Chilli Pack too. We went to look at one at the local dealers today and my wife quite liked it.

My only qualm is that it's still quite small despite being the 5dr, and we've got a 2-year-old and his stuff to cart around.

Other options are Qashqai, which just seems a bit too conformist (as daft as that is), or maybe the Jeep Renegade!

ETA: Just found the same car with Blue Chilli for £6613.71.

Thats quite expensive, for £1000 less you could get a Volkswagen Golf GTD from Freedom and a far nicer car.
Link? The cheapest I can find a Golf GTD is £7547 over the two years. And that's a manual.

And who said it's a far nicer car?

Freedom do the Golf GTD for £6200 total cost for 24 months lease including sat nav, winter pack and keyless entry.Yes its a manual.

Do you really think that the 4 door Mini is a good looking car and better than the GOLF in looks, quality and desirability.

If you do there is a buy 1 get 1 free deal at Specsavers.

Hi guys
Been offered a BMW 335d xdrive m sport at 335 + vat per month with 1 month down and servicing over 12 months.
Is that a good deal or are there better ones out there.
Thanks

£5226 for year one - not bad, not amazing.

For such a short term it seems like pretty good value, depending on the mileage, but you'd probably get a similar car for quite a bit less than twice as much for a 2-year term.

Sorry should have said, 250 to 300 plus vat Maybe stretch to 350 for a nicer motor but ideally below 300

Not a M Sport, but still an OK deal I think.

http://www.easternwestern.co.uk/business/BMW/3-Ser...

9+23 6k/yr £140+VAT (£5376 inc VAT)

Last time I checked the above quote for difference mileages it came to:

9+23 8k/yr £149+VAT (£5722 inc VAT)
6+23 8k/yr £166+VAT (£5777 inc VAT)
6+23 10k/yr £176+VAT (£6125 inc VAT)
6+23 15k/yr £204+VAT (£7099 inc VAT)

edit: it looks as if EWFS are +£1000 for M Sport and +£200 for the auto

What servicing needs to be done? 1 oil change- Nope, due at 13k
Can you get through a set of rear tyres in 12k?
