Best lease car deals available?

I'm just looking at that option now - good idea.
Try 'phoning around a bit for a service. Unless you've done a lot of miles a B service is oil & oil filter & pollen filter change. Plus it'll need brake fluid. £500 is insane (again, unless you've done higher mileage and that's triggered more work) but MB does seem to have clamped down on service pricing as they want everyone to buy ServiceCare.kiethton said:
definitely financial benefit in resetting the service interval warning yourself (condition/time based computer) a few months after a service/a few thousand miles after the last one if ever there is one! (presuming its a computer system - "the car never said it needed a service...")
For a lease car anyway...
Fraudulent. For a lease car anyway...

Do what growing numbers of people with low mileage lease / PCP contracts are doing and get the mileage "corrected" each year. For a lease car anyway...
not sure it works with them all but this just worked with Audi Finance; return the car early (even just by a month) and they accept it without taking the mileage into account. Voluntary termination I think it's called.
Theoretically it'll still cost you a months payment minimum but if you've got a bill of £1000s because of excess mileage then it might be cost effective for some.

I wasn't advocating the hard re-setting/haircutting of the mileage, just the delay of automated warnings.

Theoretical question - how easy is it to get out of a lease deal? Are there any natural breaks where you can return the car with little or no penalty?
I'm not looking to do this - just wondering.
You'd need to check your specific lease, reference early termination, but most will require the full term to be paid even if you return the car early.I'm not looking to do this - just wondering.

So is exceeding the speed limit. I guess only the morally corrupt do that?
Offences of dishonesty are treated rather more harshly than speeding. Why don't you try being convicted of one and then see if you can get a job anywhere that involves being placed in a position of trust?kiethton said:

You save £800, but its in your contract to pay for the service and you are defrauding the company by being dishonest... might as well do clocking as well.
