Don't see why not. Check your T&C's regarding insurance.

Think it's FWD. I also think the engine is not the current one used on the Golf R but the one based on the Mk5 GTi. I accept I could be wrong on both counts.

I am in the process of sorting the Scirocco R deal now with central uk leasing. First least deal and wondering if anyone can advise on GAP insurance? Been offered £190 for 10k cover for full 24 months of contract. Do I need this and has anyone got substantially better prices elsewhere?

Will come back and post up numbers when I have it finalised as looking for lower initial upfront.

It must be facelift as it's in production for quite some time now. And to confirm, it's FWD and older engine, not the one that's in Golf R.

Sounds expensive you should be nearer £90-110 for 10k over 2 years.

Thanks Ste. A few brokers online are not a million miles off the price on the post a few pages back.

I am in contact with my local dealer to see if they can match Pentagons deal of £199 deposit, £199 x 23 inc. VAT payments with no other fees.

any good zoe/leaf lease deals? all the leaf ones are 300+ and can't see a single Zoe on lease anywhere...

It will be 5-8k miles a year to replace car no.2 in the family for short trips and odd 45mile jaunt.

Thinking might have to go with a PCP to get a good deal
