Morning - here is the Touareg deal that we have on the go - I think it's great value but I think all the brokers are 'singing from the same hymn sheet', as it were.

New Touareg 3.0 V6 TDI Escape in Pure White
2 years, 3+23 rentals, 10,000 mpa, non maintenance for £364.17 + VAT per month
(Initial rental therefore £1092.51 + VAT)
Business or personal leases at same rate
Add full maintenance for £18.21 + VAT per month
Equivalent X3 / Q5 etc is at least £200 more per month. Not bad for a £45k car.

One white coming into stock in 3 weeks and a Canyon Grey (metallic) for about £20 more per month.

Quite a bit dearer than CVL
You can get off them the R line for less than your escape model

based on 8k - but we know you would just pay the excess for the 2k

Quick questions is it worth bothering with maintenance, been offered full maintenance which includes servicing and tyres for £15 with VW for my Sirocco R. Has anyone got any experience of this, seems worth it for tyres alone im going to need at least a set of front tyres in the 20k lease?
Tyres on my non-R 210PS Scirocco lasted for 18K miles. If you go for long life service, you will manage with just one, which will be around £300. So I would say, maintenance around £600, depending on the price of tyres. I paid £300 for pair of 18 inch tyres. Rears were still fine when I got rid of the car at 40K miles.

Also VWFS don't cover punctures which is luck of the draw really

FInally sorted out a lease deal for the Mrs to replace her BMW F20 1 series – (thanks to the 2 x chaps a a few pages back) beer

She wanted something small for school runs and shopping and I wanted to have something that I would like to drive from time to time.

http://www.pentagon-group.co.uk/offers/new-car/new...

£199 down 23 x £199, 5,000 per year (fine for her) 0.06 excess mileage all including VAT.

So £4776 over the 2 years for the VXR which RRP at £19,290, not bad I think.

We/She went for Shiny Rock Metallic (Grey Metallic)
18" Alloys

This will be a MY2016 Car and comes with the new "OnStar" delivery mid November so plenty of time to sell car.

As mentioned thanks for help along the way and will still be keeping an eye on this excellent thread as my M3 goes in 2/3 months time.

Cheers

Think Ill go for it for £15 a month its worth the peace of mine a couple of tyres and a service and it'll pay for itself.

You'll probably only need one service on the car - if you didn't need tyres then I'd probably say don't bother, but if you will need tyres (it's touch and go) then it's definitely worth it. I'd take it.
Yea im pretty sure Ill need tyres in 20k so I'm going to go for it.

Great choice Robbie. I love the grey.

I initially ordered through Pentagon, but had nothing but grief so had to cancel my order.

Eventually went via Aston Vauxhall and got a VXR, 10k per year, 18" wheels and carbon pack for 1 x 197, 23 x £197.

Albeit not the OnStar model.

Delivery in 3 weeks time. Happy days.

Initial Rental = £2000 + VAT

23x Monthly Rental = £79.99 + VAT

(8,000 Miles Per Annum Only - £89.99 + VAT per month)
Im after a FR Leon. I've been on with Central Vehicle leasing regarding the 2.0 TDi 150 FR Leon with Tech Pack. Its coming out at £193.74 a month and £581 deposit on 3+23. Thats for 8k miles. Thats around £210 a month. Which is about £200 more (over the full term) I think than it says on their website. Has anyone seen a better price for this?

Thanks

Are we allowed to name and shame companies that offer deals that don't exist, I'm fed up being offered deals then sending through proofs etc, then getting a call to say the finance company has closed the deal. Anyway looking for medium exec for £350 a month. Would prefer C250 Amg line or equivalent, must be auto and 10000mpa

I just signed up to the FR deal with Central. £2.4k up front with the £180 documentation fee. £131.99 a month after that for 10k miles and Metallic Black. Works out around the same price as the cheapest 1.6 normal Leon that I've seen, £234 over the 2 years.

A C250 AMG is easily available much less than £350/month. Take a look at the deals on contracthireandleasing.com

We had the full maint contract on a SEAT, so still VWFS, and they hummed and harred about agreeing to change the fronts when they were worn flush to the tread-wear indicators. Then they would only authorise Conti EcoContact tyres (originals where Dunlop SP Sports). Even Conti say you shouldn't mix eco and non-eco tyres - VW said if I didn't like it I could buy my own tyres!

I'd be minded to switch the fronts and backs at something like 10K miles and hope to get through the contract. If the have to be changed near the end of the contract a lot of people put part-worns on.

Well today the mrs and myself went for a c200 amg line premium plus with 19's. I wanted petrol as I've read that the diesel is quite noisy and strained and we don't do much mileage, tbh it's pretty much all for her as she needs it for work and we are expecting a baby so a 4 door will help. Plus it's a lovely car for me to use when I'm not in a van and don't want the drama of taking a Tuscan to the shops.

It's something like £2900 then 35x334 inc vat which tbh for the sort of car it is I think is very reasonable and possibly cheap! I'm sure there's better deals out there for other cars but for me it's the only 'normal' type car we can both agree on and tbh I wouldn't have wanted to spend any more.

Really looking forward to it as I've never had a new car. I saw one yesterday and thought it looked awesome, like a mini s class. 3mth wait though frown

That doesn't strike me as a very good deal at all. Well over £430 a month! There were and probably are higher spec models for £100 less a month recently posted on here.

Sounds expensive to me too!

My C250amg on 20,000 miles per annum is £378inc vat on a 6*23.

3 years, premium plus and 19's adds up. I've looked fairly extensively at the deals for this car and it seems ok. When I say expensive I mean compared to some of the randomly great deals out there, one for an s8 for something like £400 a mth with not a great deposit.

Hi

Do you think its worth leasing?

I've put 14,000 miles on my current car since march, maybe if I leased I'd be less tempted to drive so much, and go for less blasts and more organised road trips?

How much is the extra cost for doing more than 10,000?

Thanks

The reason it is costing you more than the quote on their site is because you are paying such a small initial deposit and therefore incur alot of "interest" on it - the more you pay outright, the less you pay overall (to a point, diminishing returns and all that) If you can afford to put more down then do so, just keep the whole gap insurance thing in mind.

I've signed up for the 150 FR today with Central, was gutted they didn't have many colours left though (I wanted apollo blue but they only have black, white, silver and dark silver left)

Can anyone recommend any lease deals on circa 24k per year mileage?
