Cheap run around

SEAT IBIZA 1.0 SPORT COUPE E 3dr Man
2 Year Contract

5,000 Miles Per Annum

Initial Rental = £1500 + Vat

23x Monthly Rental = £8.49 + Vat

8,000 Miles Per Annum = £13.45 + Vat Per Month

Is this deal real as I've emailed on behalf of a friend yesterday but no response. Couldn't see anything near that price on the website yesterday either.

I've just received an email/quote back on this deal - works out at £118 a month which isn't that bad and £2124 over 18 months; I had been looking at a 3 year old VW Up as a run around (bought from one of the VW finance sales at British Car Auctions) which would be cheaper over 18 months (depreciation etc) but does involve hassle in terms of purchase/sale.
So nothing like the quote little lofty mentioned, if it sounds to good to be true......

Apologies - I was referring to a deal on a Citroen C1 and quoted the wrong post.

Looks like I could have done a bit better on the mileage. I did however order back in May and was specific.
Yeah I got a better deal as it was a stock car they had and wanted rid. Hasn't got the better headlights or DAB radio.

What is the best current deal on a Golf R?

I`m giving serious consideration to selling the TT. I`ve seen some cracking deals on Hot Deal, however, they seem to be long gone.

10k PA is my preference.

After hearing one the other day I can confirm no-one will be buying one because of the sound!

Anyone able to better this?

Seat Leon Cupra 5dr manual, 8k miles.

9+23 £216.41/month , £1947.67 up front (all inc. VAT)

Works out at a shade under £7k for two years.

Been looking at Audi A4's and came across this with Select for a 1.4 FSI Sport.

£207.59 inc VAT 9+23 for 10,000 so comes up around £6,600 for 2 years.

Anyone able to better?

Would an M4 lose £25k over 3 years and 24k miles?

Thats how much the deal is overall. Seems expensive to me!

Any 2 year deals out there on the M4?

Still fingers crossed a deal comes out for the newest c63 similar to the previous deals on the last generation.

What would be 'acceptable' for mileage upon delivery of your lease cars? Not too worried about the excess mileage as I'll make a note of this when taking delivery but if it's coming from 200 miles away I hope it isn't completely ragged all the way!

Aren't they normally collected from a dealer or delivered on a flatbed?

Not necessary. My SLK came on wheels from Leeds to London and had 209 miles on the clock. No option of personal collection.

I asked to collect but they couldn't offer this service and it was driven delivery only. Can't imagine it will be too far, hopefully.

When you put it like that I'd agree. 3 Year old V8 M3's start at £28k in the classifieds with 40-50k on the clock.
