Long lead times on the Q7 unfortunately though (I was quoted June). You can get a Touareg R Line for £10.7k over 2 years from Solent/ Central for an 8k contract.

Higher output, 3.0 engine as used in the Q7 too.
Looked at the Toureg and as pointed out some great deals on the R Line at present, although would be paying small premium to get into a Q7 (all be it the 218) think it would be worth it.

Did have one broker quote availability on the Q7 for a March plate but most talking about factory order of 10 -14 weeks.

Looking to replace SWMBO's Fiesta and loved the idea of the A4 but the Mrs doesn't want a large family saloon so that put paid to that. Any similar deals on the A3 about, looked myself but nothing in the league of the a4 deals.

Anyone know what the lead time is on the Audi a4 1.4? Any chance for early march delivery?

Thanks, I think Contract Cars had a couple last week in metallic available at a premium but nothing available at the promo rate in standard colours.

I haven't driven the new Q7 but the Touareg is a nice car with a great engine.

Can anybody recommend Audi dealers who tend to offer competitive personal lease quotes or might be open to trying to match best deals available and who provide good service /are ok to deal with?

Thanks

Surely finding a competitive dealer is what a broker is for. Who cares what the service from the dealer is like as you never have to deal with them.

I meant to deal with in the sense of doing the deal/delivery of vehicle - thereafter as you say doesn't make a difference.

Listers Audi did a great deal on our imminent SQ5. We went PCP in the end, but could just as easily leased and Emma was our point of contact..

Personal lease: 3dr BMW M135i auto, £350.41 p/m @ 24 months + maintenance, 8k miles p/a, 12 month initial rental. Cost of rental = £12257.76 Total amortised cost = £510.74 p/m. Nav and full leather upholstery.

OR

Personal lease: 3dr Golf R DSG, £291.50 p/m @ 24 months, 8k miles, 9 month initial rental. Total cost of rental = £9328. Total Amortised cost = £388.67 p/m. No nav, cloth/alcantara upholstery.

Can anyone recommend companies where I can get lower quotes for the BMW? The retail price difference between the auto BMW and the DSG Golf is about £900 more for the beemer, so paying nearly £3000 extra to lease it would leave a sour taste in my mouth. I like both cars quite a lot, but I would very much prefer the BMW.

Neither of those deals look great.

The Golf R could be had for £7686 all in (inc. VAT) at Central Vehicle Leasing:

Not sure there are any M135i deals around at the moment though.

EDIT: Just seen you were after a 3dr DSG, so Central have that at £8376 all in:

That's not far off double the best price from a year or so ago, without options. Given the very good discounts and strong residuals, buying/PCP makes more sense right now. A base spec manual is around £25k iirc.
