Never happens. Cost of options is always spread over the term so you be better off leasing a higher spec standard car than adding options.
This isn't always correct, to upgrade to full professional NAV on the M135i I got cost me a whole £3 per month extra
I'm another one - added 20's and m comfort seats on an M5 and didn't pay the full option price as they affected the GFV in a good way. Can't remember the actual figures but the cost was about 2/3rds the price of the option price.

I think its all about the GFV, metallic paint was free but white was extra which shocked me

Out of interest what have you been quoted.

I'm in two minds about going down the A4 route or spending a little more and getting into an XC60 R design Lux Nav. The Volvo is looking like £200 extra per month not taking the initial into account. Not sure it's worth it tbh.
I was a year ago & I ended up going C class estate. I still have a year to run on mine otherwise I would be snapping up an A4. they are not my favourite car but at that price it is a no brainer.

Hi,
Does anyone know if these A4's are setup for fixed or variable service plans when leased through VW Financial Services with 10K miles per year?
Thanks.
Mine is on variable.

Finally sorted the missus' Polo with QVC (not the TV tat shop! wink)

Polo GTI DSG 5 door, black with winter pack and iPhone connectivity thingy
6+35
8k miles p.a.
No fee
7.1p/mile excess
Fully maintained
£200/mo

Wouldn't normally go for a maintained lease but the extra was pretty much the same cost as service plan alone from VW so seemed daft not to when you consider tyres and - probably - brakes in years 2 & 3.

Looks like prices have crept upwards since then though.

Are the M235i deals pretty crappy now? Noticed the Audi S3 lease deals were absurd now!

My fun day,

Emailed Grimsby to see if they could beat Doncasters deal on the A4 1.4 Sport lease 3*23 @ £178. (4626 inc vat all in) 10k miles per year. They called me and confirmed they could beat the deal by £2 a month, great. Ordered the car 500 refundable deposit then sent me the docs - 178 exc vat???? rang them they said no way is it possible including vat so they cancelled my order and will refund me my deposit. Rang Doncaster Audi - can you confirm this includes VAT and the reply was yes 4626 ALL IN! so my order is placed with them now and awaiting confirmation today. I hope these haven't f09%ed up and I don't receive an email with all the wrong figures. #PRAY4AUDI.

Looks like there are some cheap A3s going for those who find the A4 too big.

£4469 for two years and 20k.

See with the central leasing website, is that just for comapny vehicles\trade? or is it for private customers too, as their prices are quite a bit cheaper than dealer direct.

Never really realised that you can order new cars not direct from the dealers so was just curious.

Potentially stupid question from a first time car "purchaser" (always been insured on parents cars, which have been cheap runabouts), please don't laugh too hard!

I've accepted a new job, and will be doing 30 - 35k annual motorway miles on travel to work.

I've been quoted for a 520d, both maintained and without maintenance, and the difference is about £160 a month

Am I right in thinking that I would be mad to pay that amount for maintenance every month, and better off sticking £100 in a jar every month ready for when a service is due?

Just not sure whether the service costs are likely to be equivalent to £160 a month! Any help gratefully received

Haha .. I've never had a nice car before, and if I am going to be doing that mileage I'd like to have something of that ilk to do it in

The job just about pays well enough to be able to afford to add the maintenance charge, but I just wanted to get some opinions on whether saving for servicing on my own would likely be more cost effective, as I have no idea on what the typical service costs would be on a 520d
