Sorry for the tardy reply, been at a friends funeral all day.

Managed to sort the deal through Audi Oxford. Ask for Chris or Barrie.

I've had the docs through so hoping all goes ahead at the price quoted. I have no reason to suggest otherwise.

They did say allocation was running low so if you're genuinely interested I wouldn't wait.

That's a crazy low price, I wouldn't put it past them to forget the vat though. I'll try giving them a call tomorrow

Same here, wereyou via Select Contracts Leadoot?
Yes.

Seriously narked with BMW over this, I had every intention of leasing one for 2 years & then if a hybrid worked for me, buying a used one (or leasing a 530e if they make one).
Now I'll look to their competitors.

It will be interesting to see if it's just select customers who have had the orders cancelled. So far that is 3 for 3

Thanks. I do really love the Q7 but it is a massive car. I'm trying to get something size wise that is in between a Q5 and a Q7 and the GLC seems to fit the bill. I may be proved wrong following a test drive though
Outlander? (link in previous page)

Sorry for the lame question, but, is there not a contract in place? how can they just pull out and say they're not honouring at the deal you've been offered?

Thanks, I use this but find there are other offers hat appear on here that are not listed on Contract Hire and Leasing - under the radar. It was these latter types of offer that I was referring too. clap

Have you actually signed an agreement or order? Sadly there are 101 different lines they can spin for cancelling an order. The plug in grant money has pretty much halved which puts each deal £2500 out of bed for starters...

Did you sign the BMW finance paperwork or just have the offer for finance accepted? This happend to me a couple of years back by another brand where I had not actually signed the contract but they switched the model which actually worked out better for only a few pounds more.

Have a look for deals on the Hyundai i30 - I guess it's built on the same chassis. Not very exciting but pretty cheap.

The deal is with Leasing Options, unsure on prices for the 5dr as this came up under their "offers" section. Delivery time unknown as I've not enquired yet, deal is "real" though.

Us too! thumbup

Sorry for upsetting the balance of this thread by actually leasing a car but think that's only the three PHers in the thread that have actually gone for the Cactus deal. Any other car/deal match that sort of conversion rate on here? wink
+1 smile
Ordered mine yesterday-is in stock so should get it in a couple of weeks. Using man maths, the savings on my current shed MPG and RFL mean that it is only costing me approx £65pm in 'new' money ! Went for the standard Flair with no options as it has plenty already ie DAB, Reverse park camera etc

Looking forward to it

Order paperwork was all completed middle of december and signed.

These orders would have been placed before the changes in the grants wouldnt they?

Finance co. (Not BMW) paperwork completed by both parties.

From memory, grant money will only be honoured for 90 days from date the grant paperwork is submitted, and you can't submit the paperwork without chassis numbers. It has nothing to do with when the order is submitted with the manufacturer.

We really struggle to be competitive on lease deals with C350e as the lead times are longer than 90 days, so you can never be 100% what the grant money will be (or even if it's still in place).

The grant money goes down as of 1st March, and I don't think that there will be any cars in the country for registration this month which is probably a reason why the deal has been pulled. Although that's an educated guess wink

Other lease brokers I have spoken too haven’t heard anything about BMW cancelling orders for their customers, and are still confidently taking orders…So far.
