Do we need 2 separate boxes for the Feel and the Flair?
I'd say so as the Spec level is different and the Flair is the one to get imo.for 18 months use

There's a £115 interim service required and with my £400 a year insurance quote I'm looking at £152.89 a month with everything included (before fuel), amazing

I had an email from fish brothers Peugeot in Swindon offering both of these on a 1+11, 10k limit:
108 £99 +VAT pcm
208 £119 +VAT pcm
That's almost throw away money territory!
N.B. This was sent to my business email address so could only be for businesses.
Do you have a link in the email?108 £99 +VAT pcm

Thanks for the link wemorg.https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/car-leasing...
I should have mentioned it is a personal lease, if i've read your link correctly it is through gateway2lease on a business lease?

Often the difference is only +/- VAT.
The £1000 saving still includes VAT.
So, unless I've miscalculated there isn't much between the two.The £1000 saving still includes VAT.
I want to keep my £460 worth of options and i will exceed the mileage by £2k which ballpark costs about £100 - £200 in charges.
Stupid question, when leasing, is GAP insurance a requirement placed on the 'leaser' ? I've also heard that car insurance can be significantly more expensive for a lease car (isn't this purrely down to the insured value of the car?)

No GAP insurance isn't required. My insurance premiums have been the same with or without lease cars.

I was in a dealer last weekend and got a quote of £2090 down and £160 a month on the SE Business estate on a personal lease. That seemed to be pretty stacked with kit.Skoda Superb Estate 2.0 CR SE L Executive Trim

They matched this offer:

£5770 over the term at 8kpa, 7.2p per mile extra for 4k miles should see it just over £6k.
Long time lurker...
I've signed up for a Scirocco R on a 9+23 (£2261 up front with £223.47 monthly rentals) on 10k miles. The deposit includes a £250 fee and I added metallic black paint.
Not sure if this helps anyone but THW leasing offered me a (slightly) cheaper deal after I pulled the trigger on the deal above:
9+23 (£2079.18 up front with £231.02 monthly payments), same black metallic paint and 10k miles. THW don't have any fees so I assume they build that into the overall price.
This is all including VAT and it was Charlie that I was dealing with.
Hope this helps someone.

Based on the above and my recent order (first personal lease) for an Audi A4 Avant:My insurance premiums have been the same with or without lease cars.
1) Is it recommended to get GAP insurance?
2) When applying for car insurance one of the standard questions is "Are you the registered keeper of the car?" Does this work the same with personal lease cars i.e. the V5 is in your name?

2) Again, this will vary but I've not been the registered keeper under either lease. This doesn't automatically disqualify you from insurance with all insurers, though some won't touch lease cars (not sure if this is because of the RK issue). I would expect that the Audi would be registered to VWFS.

1) This is not, and cannot be financial advice, but you should consider this based on the lease documents and what your liability would be in the event of a total loss. Basically, who bears the risk that the insurance payout will be less than the amount required by the lease company to settle the finance - allowing a contribution for the value of the car? This will be a judgement call, but given the relatively low premiums and the difficulty of either knowing a valuation in advance, or disputing it after the fact, I've gone for it on both my leases.

Does GAP have to be purchased within a certain time frame of receiving the vehicle or can it be done at any time?
Generally six months but check.
If you get it, it may be that you'll be better off getting it early, as the premium is unlikely to decrease much with a shorter term, while the risk may be at its highest because your car has effectively just rolled off the forecourt, and you may have made a relatively small payment.

IMHO it's best if all deals are shared on the forum. Otherwise it just comes across as if you're using PH for your business rather than for the general good.
I understand how it can look, but in actual fact it's the complete opposite. I have no business or vested interest all I'm trying to do is help out a fellow PHer and hopefully the PH community. Those that have contacted me will understand. There are certain deals in the market place which aren't advertised for a good reason. PM's are down otherwise I would have PM'd you to explain. By all means contact me via the email in my profile and I will happily explain. It's nothing at all sinister
