That's the contract price but if you ring Audi Finance they should do a deal.

Anyone seen any good deals on the Golf GTI or Octavia VRs at all? Wondering if its worth just going for the Golf R with some prices I've seen in the thread lately!

I did a lot of research, there was very little between the R and the GTI, I went for the R.

If you don't mind sharing, Beanie, what was the deal you got?

I fancy a GTI, but best I can find is around £240pm on a 9+23 with 8k miles.

Cheers.

Of course, background was, just got rid of an 18 month old GTD (purchased) , wanted something a bit more interesting, looked at the GTI and drove one, drove the R and that did it for me, started looking at the lease deals, and there was very little in it,

I ended up going for a white 5 door, manual Golf R, totally standard, arrives 1st March,

6 + 23 - 10k per year
£1826 deposit (inc VAT)
£304pm (inc VAT)
5pense per mile excess (plus VAT)

from the same company the 9 +23 deal was:

£2475 deposit (inc VAT)
£275pm (inc VAT)
5pense per mile excess (plus VAT)

not too far off your deal for a GTI with 2k less miles per year? There was about £25 per month difference between the R and the GTI on the best deals I could find, and for £25pm I couldn't drive a GTI and be passed by an R thinking "for an extra £25...."

Also not sure if you are looking at 3 or 5 door, and manual or DSG but there does seem to be some better deals on here than what you said depends on car:

This is probably a better big car option. I think this spec is the cheapest I've seen it offered.

.
Freedom are far cheper than that.

I jumped in when their deal was 23 x 207 plus 9 months.

It then dropped to 23 x 189 plus 9

All plus vat of course.

Thanks for the info.

I'm looking for a 3 door, manual, with nav. I've spent ages looking for deals for a GTI, and other hot hatches, but decent deals are few and far between at the moment.

What's your budget? The 135 on the previous page looks good.

This is who I ordered from:

Swansway Group (They own a number of franchises including Crewe VW)

01270 848989 - I dealt with Jade,

May be worth a call to see if they can offer anything, they were the best deal for me by far!

I liked the fact there was no admin fee!

I'd love a 135i, but I don't get on with the manual in the wife's 1 series, meaning I'd need the auto, and the price increasing.

I also prefer 3 door in most cars, and again, they seem to have a premium over the 5 door.

Being the only car enthisiast in the family I've been chatting to my brother as he's car shopping atm. Thinking of leasing something...

Basically he's after something with a nice badge that goes fast, and doesn't want to pay a lot for it! I think amazing handling or engine note etc is wasted on someone like that, so with the criteria in mind (£300 pcm absolute max inc VAT) is there any good deals at the moment?

I suggested an Audi TT TDI deal I saw that was quite cheap, perfect for someone who has no real interest in cars other than appearing to be doing quite well for themselves and quick enough to tailgate in the outside lane laugh anything else to consider?

Thanks for that. I'll give them a bell.

I need to lease two new Fiesta's for the business, and they **have** to be Fiesta's. The MD has used Ling a few times in the past, but I think there must be a better deal available. Looking for fully maintained, tyres, 12k pa, 3 year lease. Model is 1.5tdci Zetec S. Does anyone know of a decent deal? Trying to search the lease websites is a nightmare.

Filter by price to find the best deal. Start at say £150 and keep adding £25 to the filter until you find some cars.

New to the leasing game.

Polo GTI deals have sparked my interest but I am not thinking f**k it just go all out and get a Golf R, as they are not that far apart when it comes to a monthly price.

Is there some form of standard letter/email i should be sending when looking for a quote or more information?

should i be haggling the price of the car in the first place before the monthly lease?

Any help is much appreciated.

Just phone an agent or fill in their online quote form. Phone is best if you want a quick response.
As far as I am aware, the prices are all fixed by the OEM, so the agent only has their fee as the flexible component.
The monthly lease price has no/little reflection on the list price.
