I need to lease two new Fiesta's for the business, and they **have** to be Fiesta's. The MD has used Ling a few times in the past, but I think there must be a better deal available. Looking for fully maintained, tyres, 12k pa, 3 year lease. Model is 1.5tdci Zetec S. Does anyone know of a decent deal? Trying to search the lease websites is a nightmare.

quite a few on there.
Thanks, I have no idea how that website didn't come up yesterday when I was Googling!

it's not very well SEOd online so you only find it if you type the name of it! Not great marketing on their part. Still, worth knowing that it's an ad site and presumably their rate card is not that sophisticated so they don't want to ps off any of their customers (lease cos) who might not have the absolute cheapest deal... hence you can't order by lowest price.

As a general point about leasing, it's hard to get an objectively great deal if you have a very specific model in mind, but at least you'll find what's out there pretty easily on CH&L.

Quick questions guys...

Anybody heard of Network/LeasePlan? Any feedback on them as a company?

Also, I have asked them for a GAP Insurance quote, will post the cost for comparison purposes if people are interested but do you guys recommend any companies for GAP Insurance? What kind of cover should I be looking for?

Oh and I have done some of my own research (https://www.moneyadviceservice.org.uk/en/articles/do-you-need-gap-insurance#what-is-gap-insurance) but wanted your opinions too...

Thanks!

LeasePlan a fair bit of fleet business, I've got fleet customers that use them. I've never had any problems dealing with them from that side of things smile

Thanks Fast Bug.

Anybody have any recommendations for GAP insurance? Maybe a policy that also protects your initial rental?

It certainly appears that way, ended up using Lings Cars as they were the only people who bothered to get back to me yesterday, and they beat what we currently pay.

I have pleaded with the MD several times to just go with whatever is on offer like I did with my Beemer but he likes equipment to always be the same for people at each level to prevent jealousy etc.

Network/Leasplan are one of the biggest leasing industry funders in Europe, currently owned by VW but not for long. I've had cars through them with no issues.

GAP insurance is worth while especially on higher value vehicles.

How much cover did you get? Let's say for an Audi A4 1.4 Saloon/Avant (as they have been popular deals recently) over 2 years would £5000 suffice or would £7500 be nearer the mark?

Just a quick heads up...I've had to cancel an Audi 1.4 Saloon Sport that was coming through Gateway2Lease. It's metallic Grey with no other extra's and cost £170.00'ish per month on a 6+23 term but IT'S IN STOCK and available for 1st March if anyone's interested.
