Scirocco R Manual worth looking at.

I'd be surprised if that isn't another "error". The 1.4 is £5 pm more than the R and the DSG adds £100 pm...those figures don't stack up.

Depends. There were huge price discrepancies on the A4 recently compared to the 1.4 Sport Tfsi model. Any other variant was more expensive as that specific one was getting the dealer subsidy. VW appear to be pushing the current Tiguan with subsidies as the lease prices are low. The next model is due any day now so they're probably shifting stock. Perhaps they're trying to boost sales of a specific variant that isn't selling quite as well as they'd hoped?

I'd very much doubt they'll be able to honour any quotations as OLEV pulled the £5k funding early and dropped it down to £2500 with 24 hours notice. Got to love dealing with government departments rolleyes

Not an error as spoke to them last night. Factory order cars with a 12 week wait.

Slightly o/t but this review has appeased me slightly on the pending arrival of 'my' 1.4 A4. Seems like they quite liked it.

That's slightly cheaper than what Doncaster Audi were doing (a few days ago anyway). They were £5576 for the same deal. £20 is £20 ;-) Peter's been very responsive with me via email, so no idea why they're not calling you back.

I don't normally care about the aesthetics but I love the look of mine. I find it better looking then the 2 and cheaper too. I guess it's subjective.

As I stated, only my opinion. It is a nice car for sure but I prefer the proportions of the 2 series. You can probably guess from my post I am picky about wheels too. The BMW M Performance alloys as a potential option would be nice but I can't image what they would do to the lease price.

You'd be much better off buying the M-Performance wheels separately, even if they cost a couple of grand, as you'll be able to sell them for good money after 2yrs when the car goes back. Almost certainly lose less than the cost of adding them to the lease.

I don't know why G2L started doing this. They were always my go to company for cost comparisons etc, but ever since they launched their new website we've repeatedly seen stuff like this.

You're lucky to even have the (potential) option, fellas.

I'm looking in NI and I look to be about to put out 6+23, £287 incl VAT for a Scirocco R DSG with metallic paint (that I don't want.)

Some may find this interesting

Just went on WBAC and got the R valued as it stands right now

It's a 5 door DSG in solid red, 15,000 miles and 16 months old.

£23,300.

hopefully that'll be around £20k by the end of the lease and another 5000 miles - might be tempted to buy if it's anywhere near there....

revo would be the second place i'd go in it after purchasing smile

Not sure that the WBAC valuation would have any relation to what the lease company will actually ask you for it though. Some of us M135i owners were given pretty high 'buy it now' quotes from Leaseplan which I'm sure resulted in 99% of them being handed back rather than bought at the end of their lease deals.

Yeh i get WBAC isn't fully representative to what it may or may not be but it gives me a rough idea of the cars trade value i guess?

Out of interest was yours always intended to be delivered around June? I was told March/April at the time I ordered.

Infuriating. Wonder if it's the same dealer? What do you plan to do - hold tight and wait? To be fair if you're not in a hurry and the car does eventually materialise, it's still a great deal. I just wasn't prepared to wait.

I also have to say the broker has been extremely helpful and efficient about getting my deposit back. It's already been refunded.
Mine was ordered through Newbury Audi.

I've probably got little choice but to hold on and wait. At the time I ordered it was a toss up between an S8 and a Jag XJ - if I cancelled my S8 and ordered a XJ I'd still be looking at delivery around June now anyway.

Out of interest, did you pay any admin fee to your broker and if so did they refund this too?
Yep original estimate was mid June

Got a quote and credit check for the 370z, by the time I was ready to order - out of stock.

Then the same thing with the Golf R & GTI...

But I can do a factory order instead if I like.... But it's more expensive.

No thanks.
