Hi all.

Question. If I get a car on a NON maintained 24 month lease, do I need to pay for TWO services (at dealership?) If the answers yes, then isn't maintenance a no brainier?
It depends on car and style
otherwise it would be factored into all the quotes
If you believe you're going to be doing over 10k miles per annum mainly motorways you can go for the 19,000 mile 2 year service interval

Ir youre 5k miles mainly town driving you need the annual service

Would an E63 depreciate £19.5k in 2 years?
I suspect even more.

Oh... Q2. Recommendation of best place to look for gap insurance? smile

And finally....

https://www.gateway2lease.com/cars/volkswagen/golf...
VW golf GTI
9+23 @ £199.19
Initial £1792
5000miles
180 fees
Total £6553
..... Seems pretty good price compared to others I've seen.
Was posted a few pages back, apparently the deal isn't available when gateway 2 lease are contacted.

New E Class saloon is May/June this year and is only E220d to start with.

There's not much support on E63 as there aren't that many out there. Current E Class saloon build finished last year. No point chucking lots of money behind something through you don't have much of left in stock.

Would do 10K of that just rolling off the forecourt I suspect. Nobody pays list for them though?

This may be a daft question, but does anyone know if where there is physical stock on the golf Rs or all all of them now factory orders?

Another S8 update.

I decided to bypass the broker and contacted the dealer directly to find out why my order from November wasn't placed until 2 weeks ago. Long story short, they had no explanation however this morning an April build date became available (I assume somebody cancelled) and my order has been brought forward and I should (touch wood) receive my car in May.

Had an email today from our HR dept promoting a new 'arrangement' with a lease company that will give us supposed discount on private leases. I logged in and there wasn't anything out of the ordinary (Audi prices are horrendous!) then I stumbled across...

BMW 335d Touring M Sport X-Drive Auto
1+23
8k - £420
10k - £432
No admin fee. Add £25 a month for fully maintained.

Didn't seem too bad?

Cheers mate, and if you don't mind me asking, when did you place your order and what's the order date on YourAudi?

I gave my order in November but it looks like the dealer didn't place my order until 2 weeks ago. I'm fearing if your order was actually placed much earlier than mine then my new eta of June is looking unlikely.
It's showing on Audi system as being ordered 5 Dec 2015. So, just over 6 months, and that was for a 'confirmed' build slot which was originally destined in May but they revised that within a few days of ordering.

Cheers mate. It looks like the dealer mines coming through were being sneaky, taking my order when they didn't have a build slot anytime soon.

As above I've been told mines been brought forward (still going to be 1-2 months later that originally told) to a build slot in April. When I log into YourAudi it's on the 'Order Received' stage but it doesn't give me any build date though.

So, a modest discount.
I forget exactly, but thought they were significantly cheaper ~12months ago.....maybe pre-facelift or something.

It's not great.

Target are advertising 9+23 at £323 which comes in at pretty much the same as you're being offered over the term.

Albeit the upfront is much bigger of course.

Hi chaps,

Have read much of the previous thread but only just found this one!

My sister is thinking of getting either a Ford EcoSport or Fiat 500x. She's a first time leaser so any tips or any info on good deals much appreciated.

I'll have a read back, see if there is anything mentioned recently.

Cheers
Pork
Is the EcoSport not known for being crap? What about a Cactus from the Wiki? If they have found any more that is..
Ling has good deals on Jeep Renegade which is very similar to the 500x
This just popped up in an email from Newbury. Not in that market so no idea if cheap or not.

doesn't say the build date if you log on using a phone, only a larger device like a laptop! Weird as it's pretty crucial info.

I'm using my laptop. Where does it say the build date and I guess you're also still just at the order received stage?

All I've got is my order number & build date and then the following message:

"Our factory is currently collating all the parts we need to build your S8. because we're determined to get every part just as you specified, this can take up to a month."
