1 - stop posting until you're 100% committed to transferring the lease
2 - get the facts regarding transferring the lease from VWFS
3 - start your own thread or sell the lease via Ebay
Thanks.

I looked on the VWFS website because I'm thinking of binning my all track too which arrives in three weeks, it says you can't transfer.... Would be good to hear if you get round it.
I really hope transfers are available as I'd be interested. As an aside do you realise how fking annoying it is that so many people missed out on these deals and now there are people who got them and don't want them. I'll tell you - VERY fkING ANNOYING

Are the prices inc vat?
Can you tell us which dealer you used as the one I'm using (Morden VW) cannot find any cars and it's working out at £176.

depends what you've paid and whether you've signed. I'd suspect you'd lose any admin/doc fees but you'd possibly be able to argue to get your deposit back.
I've been surprised by people having to pay deposits, especially through dealers - I nearly leased (but eventually PCP'd) my missus's Tiguan and with the lease there would have been nothing to pay at all until a month after delivery. I've seen others leasing comment the same.I'm not surprised though by people pulling out - the cost seems bonkers low, but I think people feel trapped by leasing and I bet a lot of people piled into it never thinking it would come off.
I didn't go for it simply for that reason - it was obviously a mistake and I just assumed VW wouldn't honour the orders and then I'd be pissed at the time wasted.

Hey Bash/b5byt, send me a pm and I will reply with the retailers details. He did say the price has since gone up slightly but will be roughly the same. Are the prices inc vat?

Prices are inclusive of vat so effective works out around £4450 over 2 years or around £185 monthly.

Not wanting to get in trouble for continuing the discussion after being told not to, but I would like to point out that things are perfectly fine on the affordability front, despite the not-so-veiled accusations! It's just that there's potential trouble ahead at my place of work that may possibly affect me. If it does, then it would be stressful to have the ongoing financial commitment so I am just planning ahead for a possible situation that may develop.
