Looks good to me, people's thoughts?
Agreed it's a good price.

All I'd say is make sure they can fulfil order before getting too excited. A6's are strictly limited supply now.

Volkswagen Golf Diesel Hatchback 2.0 TDI Match Edition 5dr DSG
http://www.swiftlease.co.uk/personal-lease-cars/vo...

Interested as it has DSG, 10Kmiles and only 3 months up front, total including deposit, rental, doc fees and VAT £6,721.9 / 24 = £280.08 a month

Personal contract hire
Contract term : 24 months
Rental profile : 3 + 23
Annual mileage :10000
Processing fee :£238.80
£249.35 incl VAT monthly rentals
£748.05 incl VAT initial rental

£249.35 x 23 = £5,735.05
£748.05 + £5,735.05 + £238.80= £6,721.9
£6,721.9 / 24 = £280.08
£6,721.9 / 20,000 miles = 33.61 pence per mile.

Looking for a A45 AMG for the missus (....and i might be just a little excited!!)

nationwide vehicle contracts
9+47 + admin fee is £180
8K pa
£3885 + £431pm

As an alternative, ive found a merc dealer with a black unregister A45 coming in next week - their PCP deal is £4k deposit £450pm. He was a little surprised when i gave him the lease price

Thoughts?

I'm just gonna leave this thread. Someone who is clearly trying to safeguard his situation by reducing the risk he may be subject to if the possible happens. And people ridicule him. It's not for you to question what he does or does not do.

Disgusting.

I hope you find security in your role and this doesn't happen to you. Too many people on high horses for my liking.

If it's a legit quote and you can put down a larger initial payment, Central uk vehicle leasing shows £5260 for 2 year lease, 5000 miles per year, extra 10000 miles would be £750?

The Merc 45 models are just really expensive cars for what they are. Pretty poor value.

i think the point he's making is that it's a contract and that figure is the total liability; and as it's going to be very hard to transfer or get out of the contract, that's what is going to need to be paid. It's a safe assumption that the OP is therefore going to be paying that figure, and if he can't afford that then it's not going to all be fine. As it stands, you'd be very unlucky be out of paid work for 2 years, but you still might miss a couple of payments. Anyway OP doesn't say whether this is a voluntary thing such as starting own business, or a mandatory thing such as getting made redundant, but if it was me I'd be getting myself at peace that I am keeping the car. Even if he offloads it somehow, I assume he will still need a car - and buying even a pretty ropey 10 year old equivalent might require say £5k. The total amount left on his contract is £4700.

Anyway, shall we move on?

Freedom contracts have these in stock,

Citroen DS3 blueHDI S&S Elegance 110 - 15k miles - 1+23 £148 per month.

Looking to order one, but perhaps someone has seen something at a similar price for the miles that might do the job better? Looking for decent fuel economy and quick enough not to have to rag the arse off it, not too noisy on the motorway etc. seems the best I can find at quite short notice for the miles.
That's really good for any car for that mileage.
Citroen have form on this, they were knocking Cactus Deals out about six months ago for about the same

£1500(1800) first rental
23 X £89.99(107.99)
£150(180) admin fee
All that's ok,
But the thing about this that caught my eye is you get 14000 miles per annum.
That's under £4.5k for 28000 miles over 2 years in a bit of comfort.

It works out at 25% of RRP, so a very decent deal, but not exceptional relative to other deals that have gone before.

As others have said, there really aren't any good deals on the A45. There's no desire from MBUK to heavily discount it, the figures look about right for an A45

Yes I do, but what I don't understand is why if you are a couple of payday away from trouble are you thinking about getting a brand new car, lease or not.

It does sound pretty good, plenty of kit on what is a perfectly good/adequate brand new car for not much money at all. I was originally looking for a cheap shed to keep the miles off another car, but at that price it seems really silly not to. A few big bills + increased MPG of the shed would just negate any savings and I'd still be driving a shed during the week. Will hopefully place an order Monday, they say delivery is around 3 weeks.

Anyone seen a Golf R hatch cheaper than the below? It has a whopping fee but the price still seems good.

Golf R 5Dr
9+23
£2138.29 deposit
£237.59 per month
8000 miles p/a
£419 fee

Works out £8021.86 for the term.

I'd been looking at this for the Golf R, but I think yours is slightly cheaper:
