For £20 a month more you could get a top spec astra rather than the corsa, 1.4 150bhp engine as well:

Just received notice of Ibiza 5dr 1.2TSI for 9+23 @ £88.38+VAT from Vehiclesavers maybe worth a look.

Astra above looks good though!

I thought the raisin d'être of this tread was to highlight/debate good deals, and compared to any other deals on A6 this is a good deal. So if the OP wants an A6, it's a good deal!
I showed a few links where the A6 3.0tdi All road was the same price.

Another deal for a bit more £

Audi A6 Diesel Saloon
3.0 TDI [272] Quattro SE Executive 4dr S Tronic

https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/car-leasing...

BMW 335d xdrive msport are also a similar price.

Indeed - no argument with those. However I can understand someone who wouldnt want the extra fuel consumption of the 6 cylinder engines and Quattro transmissions., but would like the looks/equipment of the Black Edition.

Personally I've decided against an Audi and looking for a 5 series deal instead smile

I meant a similar price to the 3.0 (272ps) rather than 2.0.

Here's an estate 335d, 330d saloon are also available.

BMW 3 Series Diesel Touring

Ahh ok.
That's about £1200 more over the term than I'm looking at for a 5 series. I know it won't have 6 cylinders but you can't have everything...!

I appreciate what you mean, we all have budgets. And especially when it's a 9+ deal the 'only' +£30/month can make a real difference to the total amount.

Looks like the super cheap Scirocco R deals are back again, seem to pop up every 6 months.

Why not an Audi?

Good question!
Having had Bmws in the past, ultimately I'm happier returning to them. The fact that I wanted metallic and heated seats on the Audi (adding to the cost) just helped make up my mind!

I've spent a couple of days getting quotes for different VWs and it seems that the oft mentioned 7.2ppm excess mileage charge has almost doubled this month. Has anybody else got quotes recently and found the same or am I just picking the wrong cars?

Thanks

BMWs are excellent cars! I've got a 320d at the moment and the drive is amazing. I'm torn between the A6 and 5 series however I'm moving more towards the A6 only because I can't seem to find a decent deal for the 5. I went to see an A6 In Ibis white and the car does look lovely however I know I will miss the drive of a BM.

The deals might not be from VWFS.
VW may have flogged batches of build slots to other finance cos like Arval, Lex etc.
These then have the network of brokers to market the deals, and their own fleet accounts who are coming to them for a price anyway.

Meanwhile the VWFS retail marketing machine has to crunch it's way through coordinating dealer promo material, national newspaper ads, magazine ads, billboards etc etc.

Yeah you're right. They mentioned that they'd changed finance companies. It makes a bit of a dent in calculations when I was half-relying on the 7.2ppm to offset some excess mileage on a 5k contract.

Having just come out of an a6 ultra black edition, it's a lovely thing to waft about in. The steering is too light for it to be anything like engaging though. However, the interior is very well built, everything works as it should (though I still maintain the rotary dial for the multimedia should have been reversed as it goes the wrong way to my mind!).
Only came out of it as someone nicked it! I had a 320d before it, the a6 was a different league in the quality of materials, but the bmw miles better to drive.

Vehicle Savers have a 520d for £206+vat on a 9+23 deal. That seems pretty good to me.

Wife's after a new suv type of car, and after looking at loads, she quite likes the Kia sportage, but needs to be auto due to knee issues, and petrol as we don't cover lots of miles, aside from two trips to Cornwall every year, otherwise its 8k per annum. I've seen this deal, opinion's?
