BMWs are excellent cars! I've got a 320d at the moment and the drive is amazing. I'm torn between the A6 and 5 series however I'm moving more towards the A6 only because I can't seem to find a decent deal for the 5. I went to see an A6 In Ibis white and the car does look lovely however I know I will miss the drive of a BM.
Vehicle Savers have a 530d for £206+vat on a 9+23 deal. That seems pretty good to me.pushthebutton said:
Yeah you're right. They mentioned that they'd changed finance companies. It makes a bit of a dent in calculations when I was half-relying on the 7.2ppm to offset some excess mileage on a 5k contract.
Tried ringing round some dealers asking if they'll match a quote?rigga said:
Wife's after a new suv type of car, and after looking at loads, she quite likes the Kia sportage, but needs to be auto due to knee issues, and petrol as we don't cover lots of miles, aside from two trips to Cornwall every year, otherwise its 8k per annum. I've seen this deal, opinion's?

Not having a dig chap but the way this works is posters provide a link.
Maybe so but when replying on a phone it's not always so easy to look up, copy and paste the links. Given the ease with which the link can be retrieve on a PC is it too much to ask people to do that for themselves - I think not. Burwood said:
There is no such deal at VS. 206 gets you a 520d
Sorry that was a typo on my part. rigga said:

Good question!
Having had Bmws in the past, ultimately I'm happier returning to them. The fact that I wanted metallic and heated seats on the Audi (adding to the cost) just helped make up my mind!
I'm in no way trying to persuade you, but metallic paint cost nothing extra on my Allroad deal and heated front seats are standard on all A6s for new orders from this month. Personally, I've had every generation of 5-series Touring and while the F11 is a lovely car, each new version has become slightly less fun to drive. If I'm not having a big estate car for fun then I'm going for comfiest I can find; Allroad with small wheels and air suspension

Yetis can be had very cheaply. Simpsons have a decent spec L&K manual for £5,847 over two years. That's a 4x4 1.4TSI 150ps petrol. Can't imagine a DSG would be more than £10 or £20 more per month, still usefully cheaper than that Sportage. http://www.diamondcontracthire.com/personal-lease-...

Most Skoda dealers should be able to match that and there are lower spec models that would probably be ever cheaper.

Good info thanks.
No seat heating when leather is fitted has always seemed senseless and penny pinching to me.
I've actually been looking at saloons, but understand what you are saying....

Anyone happen to remember the Audi TT S-line deal that was from a few months back? Can't find it in the thread. Wondering if this is comparable at all. Thanks
