I can assure you, JLR can't make XEs or the 2.0d engines for them, quick enough.
This isnt a topic to discuss the XE or Jaguar, there are plenty of others.

Not discounting isn't down to British nobility. It's probably because jag know if they do that, the XE will just have first impressions with most people as being a Passat competitor, and they'll never be able to position it as premium. Anyway. No one is going to buy a new jag for top dollar when you can get a 2 year old one for fk all. They really don't fit the lease model.

Massively further off topic, but if you can find me a 2yr old XJ or XF Sportbrake for f--k all then please post a link. I was looking for a Sportbrake but a 5-series Touring or Merc E-class estate was cheaper. So your facts and conclusion are probably a decade or so out.

More like 4 years and if the world has changed I'll be amazed. Anyway I won't be buying one, but you do what you like (except you didn't buy one either)

Long time lurker here. Also been looking at XC60 deals and was eyeing up the G2L deal until I stumbled on this.

The dealer is near me so I popped in this weekend. Asked what increasing the mileage to 8k would be as that covers me. £12 extra per month. August delivery. Seriously considering it

1+47 @299, 6K Miles ?
The Rybrook deal is four years, only 6K miles, with a whopping 19.8p mileage excess. Also the cost per year is actually slightly higher than the G2L one. And in Year 4 the car's out of warranty.

Agree mileage is low at 6k but I won't go over so not too bothered about the high excess. Just looking for advice really.

Does the low initial not sway it for you then?

No. The term length would be the real killer. In the fourth year, you're paying the same amount as the first, but for a car thats now 3 years old and out of warranty. Brakes, etc are very likely to need replacing.

Also, lots can happen in four years. Just a change of job requiring longer commute could make the mileage limit an issue. Leases aren't as easy to back out of mid-term as PCP arrangements.

Any tips on finding stock vehicles to lease. I find myself in the position of having suffered from lease deal paralysis and missed out on, amongst other things, the Alltrack deal. I now have no car and I'm ready to move on something ASAP. Contract Hire and Leasing is OK, but is there any facility out there which lists stock vehicles?

Sometimes the agents own website has the ability to filter by Stock status

eg.
