Hi chaps,

Some of you maybe interested in this as it has a more reasonable mileage allowance:

GOLF DSG 5 door with NAV
15k p.a
6+23

£217+VAT

Works out to be £314 p/m when the VAT is included and upfront cost is spread over the term.

How does that sound?

Looks like it's a business only deal, in the process of finding out if it's open to personal customers too.

Ta!

I've had a look at both; I was hoping to find an aggregation site but out of luck...

Just have to keep searching.

Any tips on finding stock vehicles to lease. I find myself in the position of having suffered from lease deal paralysis and missed out on, amongst other things, the Alltrack deal. I now have no car and I'm ready to move on something ASAP. Contract Hire and Leasing is OK, but is there any facility out there which lists stock vehicles?

https://www.nationwidevehiclecontracts.co.uk/hot-l...

(in 'More Options' select In Stock)

Very good deals here:

No. The term length would be the real killer. In the fourth year, you're paying the same amount as the first, but for a car thats now 3 years old and out of warranty. Brakes, etc are very likely to need replacing.

Also, lots can happen in four years. Just a change of job requiring longer commute could make the mileage limit an issue. Leases aren't as easy to back out of mid-term as PCP arrangements.
Exactly, just heard the Grim Reaper is sharpening his blade for cutting early next year so 2 years is the biggest risk I want to take
Volvo seem to be quite good with their 3+ year deals but poor on 2 years. I suspect that is to get people in the current model and to finish in time for the new one being available. This is why the XE appealed as the cost is the same whatever term

Just checked the other deals that I have been looking at and whether you pay 1 or 9 upfront the R Design basic model comes out just short of £4K per year. My preference was the lower spec SE as it has more equipment if less style

The XC60 is cracking for the money against it's peers (X3,Q5 etc). It's a big bus, but gets along quite well with 181 horses (currently 190)and averages 38mpg. Mine is the AWD so comes with the nice burbly 5 pot as well, which will be the biggest loss

Have we had this in the thread yet?

Passat Estate 2.0TDi 150 GT DSG

£2400 up front, 23 x £162

Has anybody used these guys? They have Golf R (5dr) at £240 per month, £2400 up front, 8,000 miles which seems like a great deal.

How does it work in terms of options - if I want metallic paint or different wheels for example?

You can add options to a factory order, but it'll likely take longer to arrive (assuming they have stock).

Basically look at the option price on the VW website and divide that cost by 23 (or the number of months in the lease) and add that to the monthly.

If you go direct with a VW dealer they will occasionally let you pay the option cost up front too. Not that it makes much difference, you're still paying the same amount over the two years.

No one is going to buy a new jag for top dollar when you can get a 2 year old one for fk all.
Massively further off topic, but if you can find me a 2yr old XJ or XF Sportbrake for f--k all then please post a link. I was looking for a Sportbrake but a 5-series Touring or Merc E-class estate was cheaper. So your facts and conclusion are probably a decade or so out.
Anyway I won't be buying one
Off you pop then.
No chance.
...of a link? Helpful stuff, cheers. And I guess you won't be leasing one either wink
the deal was posted by someone else, and was an error.

9 ratios and 2.0 diesel... it's either going to be amazing or awful! New E-class looks great though so I am hoping the former.

Pentagon and Aston ran a similar deal back in June/July last year when I applied for mine but on a 1 + 23.

At the time you could get it cheaper if you had a connection to a Vauxhall partner.
The small print on that offer says it includes he Vauxhall Partner discount. I've heard it's pretty easy to get the Partner discount though.
Interested in the below deal, but noticed the small print about Vauxhall Partners so came back a few pages and came across your posts.

http://www.walkersmotorgroup.co.uk/offers/new-car/...

I'm guessing the Vauxhall partners 'bit' isn't extra off of £169 per month? That would be too good.

I'm planning to call in the morning and see what they say, but that's a pretty good replacement for my Fiesta ST if I can get one and not much more than I'm paying for 2 years.

I really like it, even drove the E200 petrol which we're not getting and thought that was good too. I'm hoping I'll get to try the E43 at somepoint. I've driven the C43 and that was cracking, great engine biggrin

Octavia Scout, I can lease for £200 a month or PCP for £300 (similar payment profiles and mileage). Weighing up the pros and cons.

Thoughts?

(Mods if this is the wrong thread please move)

Vauxhall Partners is a bit misleading. Its about 1/3 of the population not just employees, friends, family etc of Vauxhall. Many companies, civil service employees etc all qualify

Unless there's something in the detail of the figures (why not post them up?) that's surely a no-brainer. The lease is much cheaper.
