I'm after a Golf R or GTI for as cheap as possible, happy to consider R estate also - don't care about spec or lead time, lowest cost is priority; 3+23. 10k max, will even do 5k and pay excess as long as charge/mile isn't daft (10p max).
A few have mentioned some Q3 deals coming (July onwards?) - where should I be looking for these, which companies / websites / email subscriptions?
Thanks in advance....

My personal definition of a good deal is when a 2yr 10k/yr lease is <25% of RRP. The closer to 20% the better.
15k/yr tends to be 10-15% uplift vs 10k/yr.
Thanks for that simple summary. I've found it difficult to quantify value until I read that. 15k/yr tends to be 10-15% uplift vs 10k/yr.
I assume a 5k and 8k deal would drop by a percentage then, opposite how the 15k affects?

Did you get it for £199 ?
No, as I suspect you already know, but i'm very happy with a £52k car for less than £10k over 24 months (15k mpa deal). At the end of the day, a handful of people will always get the deals, leaving the majority looking elsewhere. There are plenty more fish in the sea!

Whilst a lot of these lease deals really are great, when you look at the relative discount you can get on a new car (by looking at the right time etc) then it's not always so black and white. My Golf R was a great deal but I'm not seeing anything close to it these days. I might actually buy a new car instead and really push hard for a big discount.
Overall I'd agree on the logic. However you pay for a car, if it costs you 20% of the cash price then for 2 years then it's a good deal imo.

Q3 deals won't be out until Q3 funnily enough. I'm surprised that people know what deals are coming as manufacturers don't tell anybody until they're live in case it stops them selling at (potentially higher) Q2 prices. No manufacturer I've worked for or sold for has announced them earlyThanks in advance....

Quarter ends will depend entirely on the fiscal years of the manufacturer. With Jan-Dec and Apr-Mar being common you can get disparities between Q numbers (Q2 for someone being Q3 for someone else, etc), and thats before you get those odd people who have random fiscal years that fall in an odd month.Adman1020 said:

I can't think of any manufacturers that use fiscal quarters for campaigns. Our registration change months see to that https://www.gateway2lease.com/cars/mercedes/cls-cl...
Good deal on cls220, if anyone is looking for one of these.

Has anyone seen any good deals on a fast estate?
Needs to be petrol, so looking at:
Skoda Octavia VRS TSI 230
Ford Focus ST-3
VW Golf R Estate
Merc 250 CLA Estate AMG line
BMW 335i M sport Estate
Or anything else I may of forgotten about!
Top of the list is probably the Golf but think I'm a bit late on those deal.......
I've had a look at the normal places and Light Lease can do the Skoda on a 6+23 at £263.38, but anything better around.....

Just to say thanks for the Smart car posting, I have one arriving next week. Not sure the very cheap ones existed but have one for 9+ 23 X £74 a month.
Also have an Audi A6 Quattro exec coming in a couple of months from the very brief deal posted back in May.
£2400 down and 23 X £203
Thanks to both who posted!

Some good stock deals on Mini 5dr Cooper S Autos, with Chili/Media XL packs.
6 months down, 10k miles per year, 24 months.
Inc maintenance = £260/month inc VAT - amortised to £327/month
They had some lower spec cars, but these are fully loaded and £27k! Since when did a mini cost over £20k?!?!
Reasonable value, direct from Mini.
