Yep new model with 310PS.
Still worth a phone call with a few Audi dealerships.

You never know how their targets for June are doing.

Might be worth a phone call to Scotland.

Aberdeen with the oil issues have been hit hard.

I am also potentially looking for a C63/E63M5 lease deal. This one looks OK:

In the end I've gone with a new passat via a broker. From my calculations I'm fairly sure this will be cheaper on a TCO basis than any of the lease deals currently available. It all comes down to how hard you are willing to haggle and access to cheap capital.

I'll keep my eye on any insane deals on things like M5, C63, etc. 2 years ago they were under £500/month inc vat! Seems like most deals these days are for cheaper cars.

I remember it too. I think only 1 or 2 were in stock. I can't recall the price though, so doubt it was an 'amazing' deal, just a deal.

If only there was a thread just to capture all these deals in an easy to search format...... wink

Looks like one more push from Mercedes before end of quarter:

Mercedes C220d Coupe Sport Auto
8k m.p.a.
9+23
£1935 initial rental + VAT
£215 per month + VAT

- Garmin Map Pilot
- Heated & Electrically Adjustable Seats
- Parktronic with Parking Guides
- Reversing Camera
- Heated Electric Folding Mirrors
- BT/CD/DAB/USB Media System
- Leather Upholstery

Call 02920 022419 or email sales@gbvehiclecontracts.co.uk

I think I had about 10 emails with Mercedes and BMW deals in last few days. Not sure whether it's a good or bad deal, not interested in C-class.

Just out of curiosity - does anyone on this thread actually do the big front-loaded 9+ deals in real life? I certainly don't.

I just cannot see why you'd do it instead of the 3+ and keep your money in the bank.
I always go for 9 upfront, keeps the monthlies down in the man-maths calculator. Often irregular income means I'd prefer lower monthly committment and put a bigger chunk in up front. Trying to put some aside and drip feed it on top of monthlies is just a pain.

On my E63 lease it saved £100's paying 9 upfront as the financing cost element is reduced as they are "lending" you less. That depends on the lease firm.

Current M6 made no odds, but I paid 9 upfront because that's what I'd saved during the previous lease term.

I either going for the Tig SEL, or a Golf R. One obviously more sensible than the other :-)

Probably going to place an order in the next few weeks. Just need to sell a car or two first.

I'm guessing this will be around for a couple of weeks, so I am going to do the same and looking at the same cars! I have ordered the Ibiza FR as a run around too.

Solid means the stunning selection of either black or white. Wow. Doesn't make a very dull looking car any more exciting does it!!

Good deal though, they're good spec as standard.

I suspect the answer will depend on the deal and provider but can you delay the start of a lease typically,?

I have a PCP ending in November and want to sort a lease to start on a specific day. Does it work like that?

You can agree delivery and handover date with the dealer, but don't expect them to keep the car for months. That's assuming there's no requirement like registration by certain date, etc.

Suppliers are usually reasonably flexible, BUT biggest issue is likely to be availability of the vehicle. If it needs to be factory order then you will struggle (voe)..

What?? If you wait until the new one comes out, you won't be able to buy the old model!
Again manufactures and finance companies want rid of any old model stock.

The deals on the run up and days after the new car in out can save hundreds a month.

The new TT brought some amazing PCP deals on the older model.
I think we're saying the same thing but disagreeing about what "when the new model comes out" means in terms of timing.

If you were to wait until the new model is in the showrooms, it's too late. "Last orders" for the outgoing models would have stopped months back, and any manufacturer/dealer stock run down during that time with aggressive discounting/deals, and higher-specced run-out specials. That's the time to look for bargains!

Who is that from, and does it include VAT?

If it is VAT inclusive then that's a pretty good monthly, but I bet adding DSG bumps it up a lot. I see it can now be ordered in 2WD with DSG which helps though.

Central Uk Vehicle Leasing, however the finance is with Lex, so the excess is higher than I calculated on the this post. I believe the excess is 10ppm instead of 7.2ppm.
