why not take the golf r estate offer from the previous page 1900 down 211 a month 180 fee
Was lamost ready to go for an Octavia 230 estate due to the boot size... any ideas if the Golf R estate has a smaller boot than a standard Gold estate due to the 4x4? The Leon estate is pretty small...

We have a dog and a pram to take into account

Boot capacity jumps up from 308 litres to 605, putting the load capacity directly in line with the likes of a Skoda Octavia vRS Estate.

You put your dog in a pram?

My new leased Smart Gateway said I was the keeper and Mercedes the owner.

When I called for my 7 day free insurance I asked was that correct she said yes.

Car delivered - piece of paper said Mercedes the keeper, so I called Mercedes Exeter where it came from, lady said they are both keeper and owner.

Called back insurance Smart insurance to say needs to be changed, they said no that's wrong I'm definitely the keeper of a leased car but will make a note, called back the dealer...another lady this time said I am the keeper and her colleague was wrong, keeper on their bit of paper means they own it!!

I am keeping it as me as the keeper as have the damn thing.

Answer seems to be nobody knows! I've done all I can to get it right.
You're registered keeper when VC5 is in your name. Otherwise, leasing company is the keeper. So it's easiest to ask if VC5 will be in your name or theirs.
Dealers are clueless on this - a salesman (10yrs+ in the job with Mercedes and VW) was adamant I was the owner of a car bought on PCP. When I pointed to the bit that said I wasn't until I made the last payment, he said of course you are, the V5 is in your name. I gave up at that point.

I think there are insurance companies who are funny about it so you do need to be a bit careful you get it right. I've also seen comments that some insurers remove DOC cover if the car is owned by a lease company.

I guess they could all be £50 depending on your deposit...
http://www.yes-lease.co.uk/personal-lease-cars/cit... £29.99
http://www.yes-lease.co.uk/personal-lease-cars/ds/... £50.39

both 12 months 10kpa high(?) deposit ~£1,200

But I'm sure the gurus can find better

I think you might be cheaper going direct to VW dealers for the Golf R estate deals

http://www.whatcar.com/car-leasing/deals/volkswage...

You won't pay an admin fee so should save you £180 straight away

Sounds a very similar deal to mine... ordered 25 April (factory build) and it was in the country within 9 weeks, though I still don't quite know when I'll have it yet. I doubt they'll have any concern about your timescale.
What is the excess mileage rate on the all road deal, and who is the funder?

Just been offered a Golf R estate for £1500 and £215 per month over 24 months with 10k. This adds up to £268.54pm all in. As soon as I confirm, I will post it up here.

NVS is a few quid cheaper. Try the fleet sales team at a VW dealership, they should at least match the figure and save admin fees. Vindis Bedford were competetive the last time around on these.
Thanks for the advice, I have literally just been emailed a quote from the guy there.

He seems to think that it is a very limited run of vehicles and they have done this before???

The figures are with £1250 deposit and £179.67 a month over 24 months before VAT.

I have a Golf R from the crazy deals they did a couple of years ago that's due for replacement in about three months ironically that is when this would be arriving. The only thing stopping me from doing it is he also mentioned a possible repeat or loyalty deal for the existing Golf R customers from before.

Any advice would be appreciated smile

The initial is included within the total for the term, figured most people would understand what 9+23 means by now.

What was your original deal? Don't forget that the estate has heated seats and nav included as well as DSG (I'm sure you are aware of this!), so I think it's a good deal!

16% of (pre-discount) list price for 2 years, that's got to be one of the best 'value' deals out there surely?
The 272BHP version @ £275 on what seems to be a 6+23? If that's right, it's staggeringly good value. No indication of fees or the lease term, which is odd.
