Just stop fking procrastinating, anywhere around 6.5k on a Golf R Estate is a brilliant deal and you will regret fannying around when they are all gone by Monday evening.
Got mine 3 weeks ago and it is absolutely immense.
If you need dealer contacts try Vindis (as previous post) or go Lancaster VW, who have a big fleet team who will match anything out there.
Do you have a specific contact email at Lancaster VW? I've sent one to the websites 'contact us' address for now.Got mine 3 weeks ago and it is absolutely immense.

Best company I've found so far for R deals, DSG (5dr) is Vehicle Savers. Drafting up my email and giving them a call on Monday to secure close to 235-245 pm.
Overall cost here is (9m ID, 2YRS, 10K)
360+2217.06+(246.34×23) = £8242.88
Challenge a cheaper quote?
Maybe I am missing something, but that's an amortised £351, which is very uncompetitive compared to the deals over the last 5 or so pages. The Golf R Estate (also DSG) is coming it at around £270-90 amortised.Overall cost here is (9m ID, 2YRS, 10K)

I dont think the loyalty deal will be that amazing so im going to see if a dealer can match the vehicle savers price on a 5dr hatch thus removing the fee and giving me the opportunity to add options and pay for them upfront instead of going on the monthly. Lancaster VW are apparently worth a punt.

I've spoken to vehicle savers over the weekend and their Golf R deals include metallic paint. So it's about 249 for the 3dr DSG on 3+23
Website doesn't show this?https://www.vehiclesavers.com/car-leasing/volkswag...

People ordering the estate, are you going red or white? Head says white, heart says red!
I think Red. I figure white would be harder to keep clean in north Scotland. I'm also thinking I'll add High Beam Assist and the App Connect option - won't add much per month but will make life easier for 2 years.Rscut said:

Wondering if someone could help me out, had my eye on lease deals for a while but not quite finidng the right thing.
Have a track car and a show car, neither of which I want to drive far at all. Looking for something with a decent sized diesel engine that can tow reliably when I need it to, but something I can daily drive also.
I realize thats a relatively big ask but I'm a bit lost, have considered 3.0 A6's and they seem quite good, but just exploring my options.
So yeah, any ideas, links or suggestions would be great

In my experience, just phone in the morning and order the car. Procrastination and waiting for emails just increases the likelihood of disappointment.
This. I've lost count of the amount of times I've seen people on here lament about missing a deal. If you see it and are happy with the price just do it. Easy!FurioAPB said:

Vanarama still showing this shockingly good deal on an A6 Allroad 272. http://www.vanarama.co.uk/audi-car-leasing/a6-allr...That's a £50K car, give or take. for near Golf R money. Sneeze and you'll miss it, I expect.

Can you add options i assumed all the estate deals were prebuilt and sitting in a field somewhere 4ner said:
Stable leasing have a good deal on the Golf R atm.
Cheapest deal I've found is £8242.88 all in - Stable Leasing on an R starts at DSG is £297 (http://www.stablevehiclecontracts.co.uk/volkswagen-golf-r-2.0-tsi-300ps-r-4motion-dsg-3-dr) so not even close!Splats said:

The deals you refer to are under the Estate deal which I agree are extremely competitive at the moment. The 5DR DSG which is my requirement is therefore a higher amortised rate as they are not competitive in respect of the Estatebeeej said:
As has already been said: the price for the Golf R at vehiclesavers is not the cheapest - the Golf R Estates at Horizon and G2L are quite a bit cheaper.
Absolute bulls*** as shown by the quotes retrieved from another posterMullacAbz said:
Are you incapable of navigating the website yourself to find the 5 Dr price? Vehicle savers are currently the best price on the Golf R Hatchback, 3Dr or 5Dr. The cheaper deals being quoted by others are on the estate not the hatchback.
Are you incapable of reading what I've written in my previous posts and I've been pushing the VS deals as they are indeed great for the Hatchback as well as the Estate...I've called out directly that someone was linking me hatchback quotes when I'm interested in hatchbacks see below:Sikkkbass said:

But I'm not looking for an estate...I'm looking for the specifics mentioned above in my post. Can someone quote me a cheaper price as like I'm said I can't find one cheaper than VS?
Quick questions:
- from what I can tell all I'd need to sort are GAP insurance and actual insurance for me and my girlfriend on the R once delivery is done. Is there anything else you'd recommend as I've seen Tyre Insurance, Cosmetic Insurance etc which will add money to the monthly payment
- what kind of options would be required on the R, from what I've read the stock R is pretty decent
Oh yeh and the colour I'm going for is white.
You must reeeeeally hate the estate looks or extra 80kg to stump up so much extra over the term for the 5dr. Each to their own, but if I wanted the 5dr I'd find it a bitter pill to swallow that I'm paying quite a lot more for a car that lists for less.
I've never driven a 3/5dr Golf R before so I have no frame of reference, but the estate I drove today was bloody brilliant. Very capable in the corners and quite happy to be flung around. I can't imagine the hatch would be noticably or vastly better.
Unless you are wanting manual, then the estate is out. Again, I thought DSG was brilliant and by freeing up brain space from rowing the gears, I could concentrate on other silly stuff
