Spoke to CVL regarding the R Estate
Bad News : No option's can be added such as App Connect..
Can confirm this - G2L told me same. They're 2017 model build slots (yay!) but not configurable (boo!)

I would seriously regret not having App Connect, so I didn't bite despite the excellent price frown
Dealer can add it for around £250.
is it really worth it though? I've been looking at the Audi one and it seems to be largely pointless rubbish like being able to set a destination on the PC and then somehow transfer it to the car...

Whilst the Golf, Leon and Mini deals are really attractive I need to be sensible on running costs - is anyone aware of any equally good deals coming through on the diesels? The Golf Match offer on the 2.0 tdi last month was ok but I'd really want a GTD or equivalent with similar discounts as currently available on the high performance petrol models.
Did you really just join pistonheads for car lease deals?

hang around and see what gets posted up. This is more of a message board than a finder service. Don't be too narrow with your requirement though.

Troll is troll

It's "sikkbass" sock puppeting and being a net consumer of the goodwill in the thread.

This thread has become very noisy again.
Can anyone be bothered with a cut-paste of the best deals into the thread below?

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Also, Golf R people, there is already a thread wait for you here:

Seriously!!! How stupid do you need to be to ask a question like that?

You are considering taking on a £30,000 credit liability and you are so thick as to need to ask about MPG around town.

Jesus.

30 MPG is that enough.

Can a mod step in and put this thread out of its current misery please.

We can't all be smart as you now can we. I think that a range of 20 - 30mpg is a wide enough variance to give me a rough idea. As I am sure you would appreciate those kind of figures would not be what one could obtain from the VW website, hence I dared to ask.

Some very 'aggressive' posters here should perhaps have a word with themselves.

Thank you for your input in HELPING me with my decision on 'taking on a £30,000 credit liability'.

Aha! The nice and confusing VW technology option strike again - what you talk of it Car Net App, which the Alltrack, and I suspect all VWs with Nav may come with - it uses your phone as a Wifi hotspot to download Google traffic and news and weather etc and is FoC for 3 years - pretty useless as far as I can tell, especially as it struggles to connect to my IPhone hotspot unless I restart the Iphone hotspot twice - this may be down to the iphone rather than the car - but still the Nav does not seem to use the google traffic info as part of the Nav routing as far as my playing about can tell. I've not tried the preplanning or the POI search,

I think his point is more that this thread is about leasing deals. You've asked a question about economy for a specific vehicle that would have been very easily found out elsewhere. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=2016+Golf+R+MPG

That's true we can't.

Which town are you likely to be driving in as this will be a factor together with driving style, whether you keep your windows closed and what pressures the tyres are at plus of course the weather.

If it drops below what you expect then look further ahead to anticipate hazards, squeeze to go and ease to slow.

HTH.

Point taken, but goodness sake, anyone would think I had just committed a murder. If the purpose of the gripe was as you have just shown, then a simple solution would have been to just say google it. Strangely the thread has been cluttered up more by those that want it to be uncluttered than myself.

Anyway, hopefully I've been put in my rightful place sitting in the corner with my dunces hat.

Do the deals on the R Estates from Bedford VW all include nav and winter pack?

Think I will have to go blue, not convinced by red or white in estate form

Most of us have been there. It's a shame really. There are a few idiots around as we all know, and it seems their behaviour can to have a knock-on effect and turn non-idiots in to different kind of idiots. Perhaps they need to get over it.

Pressing on, good luck!
