Thanks. I think I'm going to stick with it though. I liked the pics on the Audi website with that combo but appreciate that's not the same as seeing it in the flesh.

I've currently got a metallic grey 3-series with pimp red interior and I'm quite happy with that, so I think I'll be ok with this too.
I think it looks bad ass. Will look immense in the flesh, and different from all these hundreds of other S5's you're gonna see from february onwards haha...

Me. I've ordered Navarra blue.
Oh yeh with the red seats that someone disapproved of! Haha yeh I remember reading that... I just read that the solid black is an arse to clean, shows up scratches and what not... but the metallic bumps it up a fair bit, gonna go for the black I think.
hmm that's got me thinking whether I really want black now...

I usually like white cars but not sure then on what interior colour to get?

decisions decisions..

Hey Burty, was it a lease? If so are they asking for the balance of the payments? That's a real bummer have BOTH cars taken in the same event. God I hate thieves.
Yes both leases, Golf R Est as well, 3 months and 4 months old

Yes they are asking for full settlement i.e. gap, glad I took it out
Surely that's a nice little earner for them then. New for old/full payment for the vehicle plus 10k+ in lease payments & the option to lease the replacement out again

I've just had a white 4 series with red leather, and for me it looked great... everyone else seemed to think so too. I think all the seats look ace, i'm not sure i'd have the grey with white exterior though. I think white with red... each to their own though!

Who was that with? And has it been confirmed?
I filled the form in on Tuesday for mine, but told allocation has gone - waiting for more to be released.
Its with Fleetsauce... he seems confident that it will be February delivery. Ive asked him if its 100% definite that they have them, awaiting response as well as the quote with a couple of extras. I'll let you know... who was yours through?
Thanks for letting me know, I've spoken to then and filled in the forms - now just need to see if they come back and confirm the order.
Going for black car (might be tempted by white) with just visual cockpit and red leather.
My think about heated rear seats for my son.

Not sure why discussion on S5 lease deal should get shunted?

Surely as worthy of debate as the various VAG diesel snot boxes that are debated at length?

Fine by me; just pre-empting others getting annoyed at discussion over the nuances of spec' choice, etc.

Just roll with it. It helps people to find good deals within this thread such as the S5.

Not quite. Lease GAP isn't "new for old" like retail GAP. All it covers is the balance of payments after deductions.

No new car for VW. And the payments owed will be reduced by the difference between the insured value at the time of payout and the estimated value at the end of the lease.

Well that's me changed my S5 from a Coupe to a Sportback. Black, virtual cockpit and flat bottom steering wheel hehe

Perhaps we should all have a meet to compare our identical cars in the new year. biggrin
Did you change because of a better deal then? I think i'm going for the coupe, just had the quote through now...

Is anyone pushing the boat out and taking the metallic as an option?
No I've a couple of kids and although this is not the main family car I thought it would make life easier for Saturday morning runs to football with their friends and on the occasions I take my car, plus the boot space looks more usable....basically I'm getting old!

I got a quote for the red metallic and it was £25 more a month, sod that, my current car is solid black and I've had no problems plus I think the black with red interior will be an nice combo.

Did anyone go with the Southern Audi deal on the s5 coupe?

https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/car-leasing...

Looks to be the cheapest and, if its real, then a great price.

Only problem is i cant find any details on a southern audi. Also when i google the number it doesnt come up with anything.

Any better deals on the s5 coupe that i am missing?

Cheers for your help

I contacted them for a quote yesterday morning, heard nothing back... my quote for 12000 miles instead of 10 was £364, so theres not a lot in it as far as I can see. The guy i'm dealing with at Fleetsauce is very helpful, although the replies are a bit delayed as he's having to go back and forth with audi...

Haha, valid reasons indeed... this will be my last coupe! I couldnt justify the extra for metallic either, going with the white... all pending the acceptance of the order of course, which i'm not taking for granted!

It's an odd one. The phone number on the advert is different to here: https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/car-leasing...

which then Google gives as Eastbourne Audi. Which then gives:

Name: Mark Hodd
Position: Fleet Sales Manager/LBDM
Telephone: 01323 344014
Fax: 01323 509450
Email: mark.hodd@caffyns.co.uk

I'd just give him a call direct.

The Southern Audi deal on the coupe is legit. I spoke with Mark yesterday, filled in a finance application form and subsequently received a quotation from him on Audi Finance letter headed paper.

Going to wait to see if another batch of the significantly less expensive Sportbacks are released today (via CUVL) before making a decision.
