I have a Golf R through Arval that is in need of an oil service, I have emailed them to ask but does anyone know their policy on who can do the work?

If its VWFS then they stipulate you MUST use a VW main dealer.

Someone was looking for a Focus RS recently, just seen this deal.

£336.37pm on a 9+23 for 8000 miles. Lots of other options available.

Is there any expectation for the Golf GTI and/or R to be coming back around for some more good deals? I seem to be finding the GTI for £250/month and the R for £300/month.

Since I signed up for a Golf R DSG Estate today * (300bhp outgoing model), there will almost certainly be amazing deals on the new Golf R over the coming weeks wink

  • My deal is nothing to shout home about, but it's about the same as I'm currently paying on my Octavia vRS TDI DSG estate so I'm happy.

Honestly, it's not a 'deal', it's just what the car is worth to me in my present circumstances. All told it's under £400 a month inc VAT and maintenance on a 1x35.

Some will scoff at it, hence why I didn't post ZOMG LOOK AT THIS AMAZING DEAL!!!1111 wink

These prices are readily available on contracthireandleasing, nothing special, but it means I can move from my vRS to a Golf R for the same outgoings and have the benefit of a newer car with no admin (servicing, MOT, tyres etc etc)

The jag is a lot of car for the money, any options would ruin the deal though.

She has no preference other than cost and our ability to save for a deposit, which (annoyingly) is all sensible stuff and I shouldn't be spending £300+ a month on a car if I can't save for a house.

I know she's right, and I'm an accountant so I should be sensible, but the Jag would only need one service and get better mpg biggrin

It will tell you in your lease Contract Ts and Cs.
I'm with Arval, but have maintenance included, so my contract will be different to yours.

500 Nm, not lbs/ft. That's about 370 lbs/ft.

PH, pedantry matters wink
Ooh, can I out-pedant you?

It's ft.lbf if you must use imperial. Torque, known here by its force-distance components, is identical to energy, i.e. in the SI system 1 Nm torque = 1 Joule of energy.

I was just about to sigh about pressing ahead with the IONIQ then I looked and as standard the Mini is about as well equipped as a cell at Guantanamo!

They drive great though and pretty nippy for a diesel.

Will be stated in your agreement. Usually main dealer specified.

Did anyone on here order the M140i deal from back in October time? Just wondering if anyone has had the car delivered yet? I've been told that currently the funding has been pulled, so unsure what that really means, might have to look into something else around the same price.

For reference, the price was £290/month, 3 months up front, 5k/year, 5 door auto, business nav as standard.
Was it bmw crew supplying the car ?
