This seems a lot cheaper than any other deals I can find:

BMW G30 530d M Sport 4dr Auto
3+23
10k Miles Per Year
£449.77 per month

Thoughts? Or around the right ballpark?

I posted about a C250d deal a good few pages back (£388 6 +23) that i ordered. When I got the order form something didn't sit right. The car was the older 7 speed whereas a 9 speed is now standard. I cancelled the order.

The broker then sourced me the following....

C250d AMG Line Premium Plus 9g tronic
White, 12k per annum
9 + 23 £372p/m Inc vat
Registered 31st March.
I'm just waiting for the Mercedes forms to come through to sign up.

I've got a dilemma as also fancy an A5 Sportback 2.0tdi s line Quattro Stronic. Have been offered one at the main dealer with £300 of options at £386 9 + 23 Inc vat. However, you really want the tech pack & virtual cockpit which adds about £40. My head tells me you get so much more with the merc.
The spec on a C with the Premium Plus pack is really high, far more so than the Audi. If you want it and don't think it's too much then go for it. There aren't any stunning deals at the moment so just go with what you can afford.
Just for reference : Mine (an estate) 250 AMG Line PP pack (no other options) was 2K down and 353 a month on 10K pa. Got it though GoGreen Leasing and it was ultimately supplied by Greanoaks MB in Reading. That was the older 7-speed though as it's on a 65 plate.... I went for the PP as I really fancied a sunroof! biggrin (and the larger COMAND Screen)

Having looked through it with the missus 3 years of ds3 ownership can cost:
Lease: £6488.48
Pcp:£10652
Am I missing something or is leasing really that much cheaper? And is gap insurance worth it?

Leasing CAN be that much cheaper, not always. Depends what you want, how fussy you are about specific things like spec/engine and whether there is a deal going for it.

Is you PCP figure based on list price? You should be able to get close to 20% discount on an DS3, depending on the model.

Fatal mistake asking opinion after fisting the kumquat smile

If your happy then great but a 335d would have comfortable cost less than your 4 pot, although I admit I'm not sure what gizmos premium gives you

Cheers
Where could the 335d be found for lower than the merc please??

I'm looking at S3 Sportback DSG leases at the moment, ideally for 24 months and really can't seem to find anything that comes in at less than £11k over a 2 year term regardless of deal structure.

That's about 32% of the car's basic OTR price, which seems awfully steep when the golden target on here is 25% or below.

Anyone seen anything better than this?

They are absolutely awful at the moment, I was looking a few months ago and ended up going for an S5 Sportback at very similar money!

Unless you are willing to lose 4wd and get a Leon, or find an old Golf R deal, there isn't a lot cheaper with this kind of performance. The Focus RS is similar money, A45 slightly more IIRC but the CLA45 was again similar money. Its more that you can get more car for your money with a 335xd, S5 or similar.

Jag XE R Sport 240 with a few options would be similar money. May not be as fast (or a remotely comparable car) but I know which I'd prefer.

Has anyone seen any decent Merc deals on the A Class?

Best I can get so far is £3k up front and 24x £261 with Select Car Leasing for 5k miles, option paint, wheels & premium pack

Thats circa £9,264 over 2 years, seems expencive to me

I was guessing the OP would either want 300hp, 4WD or both with my suggestions.

And I was commenting on what I'd prefer for that kind of money, horses for courses. As I said it's not a comparable car - so ignore me if you want.

Yeah - not great at all.

S5 Sportback (needs to be 5 door) is around £460pm on a 3+23 looking at the CHL website (broker is carleasing online. Still over £12k for 2 years motoring!

Cars I'm considering so far are the M140i (cash or PCP, not lease as the basic car doesn't even inc cruise!), S3, Golf GTI/R.

Hi Gents,

Wall flower here! I watch and hopefully learn.

BMW 5 Series Diesel Touring
535d M Sport 5dr Step Auto
Business Lease Deal
£319.00 Per Month, EXC VAT
Rental Profile 6+23
Annual Mileage 10k Miles p/a
Initial Rental £1,914.00
Halliwell Jones Wilmslow BMW
01625 836449

About to agree these terms for the current (old shape) 5 series touring. Previously had the 335d xdrive - what a car! but new addition to the family requires more space.

I think it is a pretty good deal, but open to suggestions for other comparable cars with big engines Audi A6 and Merc E Class if anyone has found any other good deals?

Spoke to a friend who works for Affinity and he reckons prices are going up not down, that will be the same for April when the Road Tax goes up, because PCH includes Tax for the term it will push up monthly figures. 😩.

As for the A Class, have seen a few sub £200, depends on your spec and requirements etc.

Not 100% certain, but I'd expect the outgoing model to come down in price as the G30 deals ramp up, especially for in-stock vehicles.

Then again, the 535d is pretty rare, so not likely to be much stock around I'm guessing, also depends on how urgently you need the vehicle.

EDIT: Again, another curveball from the post above, depends on delivery dates! If its after 01/05/17 you'll get hit, but if you can source a vehicle in stock then it should be okay.

Yes, I mentioned the S5 because I think it is worth every penny of the circa £1k over the S3, on base spec alone (and instead of a £34k RRP car you get a £47k RRP car). The sportbacks are cheaper than the coupes on lease, and they are about £800 dearer than when I ordered mine.

You can get a 335xd for under £11k though.

But if my budget was less than that I would be struggling I think at the moment to get something that fits what I like. If the S5 hadn't come up I would have got a 335/435 or resorted back to a really cheap deal as a runaround. I tend to be willing to pay a 'good value price' that is a lot of money if I like the car, but if there isnt anything just go to something cheap.

I was just explaining why I had suggested the cars I did.
