Hi All,
Any deals on the new petrol Audi SQ5 ?
Not seen any posted on here, but if you do find stuff be sure to post it up as I'm sure this would interest many on here.

PH's preferred leasing partner Select ( who I believe are an offshoot of main dealers) has them up on a 9 + 47 with 8k miles for £615
that's more than £34k for 32k miles.

They look dear on CH&L but I'm guessing you have been on there? I thought they may have done some deals given they did with the S5 and it is far less likely to sell as well IMO with it not being a diesel.

Very good deal for around £160/month all-in.
But have you sat in one?

One of the nastiest interiors you can but new today. Such a pity as it's not a bad powertrain, especially with th proper gearbox.

I have. As I was going to get a Premium one but the 3-4 week delivery I was promised turned out to be more like 12 weeks.

I went and looked at one and it's a perfectly adequate place to be.

Nice one mate. When does it arrive? I was looking for low upfront instead of the Huge £2400 that most places tend to have like Simpsons Skoda etc
Horton Skoda as lovsn said on previous page, 3+23 so a lower initial.
Does a 3+35 not reduce the payments substantially?
If i recall correctly the 3+35 plan had the same monthlies.

As normal they said factory order is 8-12 weeks, though I've said I'd like it delivered late July if possible to coincide with the end of my current lease. They seemed to be fine with that.
I think the 3 year make more sense still, your deposit goes further and you should still get away with having to put tyres on it etc.

A x3 initial payment is very modest so whether 2 or 3 years makes little difference.
It's the x9 deals that 3years makes a real difference.

Totally disagree. I sat in one at Geneva and thought it had one of the better interiors for its class.

Saw a deal on a MX-5 2L, a tad less that 7k over two years, 10k miles per year. Not a great deal (33% of value) but was a lot cheaper than all the other deals I could find.

True, but the MX-5 isn't a well specced car, even at higher trims. The SE-L is probably the trim most would go for. Plus the 2l gets the slip diff if I'm not mistaken.

Simpsons are offering a £699 deposit £249 a month deal on the book of faces, so their huge initial rental has dropped considerably

I recommended to someone at dinner that they get a cheap lease as apposed to them buying a <£1500 car, having seen lots of Citroen C1 etc deals over the past year or so at good prices. Just looked at contracthireandleasing and there's only one car on 3+23 under £125/month. Do we need to wait for the new financial year for good deals.. or?
V4B offering a C1 1.2 PureTech Flair 5Dr on a 9+23 deal

£963.90 inc VAT initial
£107.10 inc VAT x 23
10k per annum

Not a fantastic deal, but approaching "cheap enough" levels

In comparison our C1 1.2 airscape is on a 1 + 17 @ £ 97.00 a month (5k miles).

Not that great wink

First post, so be nice!

On the lookout for my first lease, quite keen on the BMW 4 series, requirements as follows:

2 Door
Manual
2 or 3yrs
10k p/a

Did have a hunt through recent pages on the thread, couldn't see anything, anyone aware of any decent deals in the market? Thanks...

Just got off the phone to Simpsons.

The saloon is 699 + 23 x 249 and the estate is the same but 269 a month.

They are also willing to rearrange to a 1+23 at no extra cost.

Good deal..

Only issue for me is that they are a minimum 14 week manufacture time which means I would be without a car for at least 4 weeks.

Anybody got any good ideas for a 4 to 6 week gap filler??

I also test drove a 1.6tdi Seat Ateca SE Tech on Sunday.

Nice once you were inside the thing. The exterior was a bit 'meh'. The only decent looking ones are the Excellence spec.

Decent to drive. Great visibility and comfortable. Good handling. Not wallowy like a boat but not crashy either. The 1.6tdi engine had enough about it to give a decent drive, but I was really interested in testing the 1.0 petrol. Good gear changes.

I think they're a bit pricey for what they are. Considering Simpsons is literally next door and they're offering the new VRS for a lot less. (Seat dealer wanted £380 a month to lease me an Ateca SE Tech)

I had a poke around an Ateca too over the weekend, seemed to tick most boxes for a family wagon.

Other posts in this thread have mentioned much cheaper deals than that. I've seen a 6+23 at £188.

Looks like a good deal for the SE, but do you think those excess mileage rates are a mistake? They do state the finance is with VWFS, their rates are up around 8p/mile now I think.
