I think this is a cracking deal personally, I see you also get met paint, convenience pack plus and full link with it so with the standard equipment and these extra bits it looks great value. Ultimately the Cupra deals are the best for what you get but this deal is a good alternative for those who want lower fuel and insurance costs
I am 23 so the insurance costs for a CUPRA would be too high. I was swithering between leasing and buying a used Leon at 2/3 years old, this deal looks very good value though.

Has anyone got any experience with nationwide?

Anyone know of any good deals on the 1.6 BlueHdi C4 Cactus at the moment? Looking for something cheap to run back and forth to work etc.

I was looking at these but couldn't unearth any good deals. If you just want cheap then I would just set your limit and see what comes within your threshold. The C1 and DS3 through the usual sites all seem cheap enough.

All,

I am due to hand back my A6 S Line Saloon on the 1st of February next year.

Ideally I am looking at something in a similar quality bracket to replace.

The car was a 6+23 deal at £329 a month Inc Vat, Maintenance and based on 15k a year. A cracking deal back in 2013 and I extended it for a year.

I would be looking for similar deal, including maintenance and the mileage.

Current list is Golf R, Merc CLS, Another A6 or Merc E Class Convertible.

Anything I have not considered? I am looking to stay under the £400 a month mark all in.

Should I really be looking now to order or far too early?

Any help appreciated!

I second that sentiment... What dealer, how much down and what mileage? Love the 6 GC.

I assume it's the same deal Freedom and many other brokers are showing for the 6GC only available to business customers, I am really interested in the i8, a supercar I can fully expense to my company!

Out of personal interest, did they just let you extend the lease at the same rate? My Golf R goes back in March and VWFS have just reduced my monthlies to £160, so I'd be very tempted to extend for another 12 months at that rate.

I contacted Arval to explore my options in Jan of this year and got some quotes and they offered the option to extend. 6 months was not possible but a year was. The hire cost reduced but the maintenance cost increased substantially. All in though, it resulted in a £8 saving a month. HTH.

Right - but he said he was holding out for the new cabriolet next year.

When you mentioned "the new 220d engine is very nice", which engine were you referring to? The old 2.1 or the new 2.0?
The new 2.0 220d engine smile

It was when it was zero BIK, but have you seen the current i8 BIK chart for the next 3 years?

7% then 9% then 13% of £104,000, a few quid over 3 years, even if you're living like a monk and are well under the 40% tax band

I'm looking for a premium lease too, in pretty much the same price bracket. Audi were useless in matching the recent brilliant A4 deal, so although I was thinking of going for the VW Tiguan R-Line deal at £215/month with Central, the 12 week delay is putting me off. (Not sure a VW is considered a premium car by most but anyway!).

Thankfully, VW is matching the deal and may be able to obtain one quicker. They've also said it may be possible to extend the lease. Is it sensible to do so, considering the upfront deposit fee (of £2400) is delayed for another year?

May I ask, why did VWFS reduce the monthly fee? Were you travelling less miles than originally envisioned on the plan?

There seems to be a few improved Golf R deals out this being one;

https://www.vehiclesavers.com/car-leasing/volkswag...

Low mileage though but if you exclude the fee amortises at £288 on a 5 door manual which seems decent

That's it. I'm doing 6,000 miles per annum rather than the 10,000 miles pa on the lease.

I'll be taking delivery of my Audi A6 on Monday, just had a few questions.

The car will be driven from Chesterfield to Essex for delivery which is a 150 miles journey, isn't that high for delivery miles? Or on a lease car it doesn't matter?

The broker has supplied me with the car ref. I've tried entering the reg on comparethemarket etc and none of them are able to recognise the car. Apparently quotes are always slightly high when you enter the car manually?

Thanks in advance
My delivery was 200 miles I hope it's not added to the total mileage allowance as it was noted down by the driver.

I had the same thing with reg and insurance. Just put in the exact model in manually it doesn't make any difference.

"Purchase date" is the month of the delivery
