Definately the new car as i also specced the virtual dash. still cant find a dealer with a new s5 to test drive though. What spec are you going for?
It does look good value for the new model. I just need to make the man maths work as my CLS lease doesn't end until September 2017 and i've just leased a TT for the wife. Oh not to mention we also have 3 kids. One of them could always walk I guess!!I too am on the fence. Ideally want to drive before ordering...may sit this one out and hope I don't regret it.

I've agreed to a lease on a Golf R. I signed on the dotted line with the lease company 2 weeks ago on Monday and we still don't have a confirmed order number from VW.
Is this something I should worry about do you think? The dealer has reportedly told the leasing company that they've ordered the car and they're just waiting for confirmation of a build week, and the leasing company reckons it will take approximately 16 weeks.
Is an order number even a thing? Perhaps I'm worrying about nothing, but never having leased a car before (or even bought a new car) I'm completely inexperienced in what is normal and what isn't. Thanks.

I had to chase the broker for an order number and have just been on live chat with VW to get an approximate build date.

I must admit I know nothing about the XC60 and the types of deals available. But on face value, it seems quite high for a £35k car.Volvo XC 60 D4(190) SE Nav Geartronic, with metallic & family pack. List £35,099.99

Thanks to Angus making me aware of the loyalty campaign I have a new R (DSG this time) on order for March delivery next year.
Very happy with the deal and many thanks buddy
Hi, what was the campaign deal? Was it as an extention to your current lease through vwfs? Or a new deal for a new vehicle through vwfs or dealer? Very happy with the deal and many thanks buddy

It's a blooming old £35k car too, and as such you can buy them for waaaaaay less than £35k. Not sure why you'd choose one on those sort of rates over a cheaper 2016 spec Tiguan with much more reasonable excess mileage tbh.angus337 said:
Not as good as my current deal, but the best I can find at the moment. Can't see a better deal in any of the usual lease sites. Plus no arrangement fee, so could cancel if something better comes up.
Also got my extension quote today, £268 pm for 12 months and that's with no additional mileage (I.e. 20k over the 3 years) so not great either.
I have also asked for a lease extension quote. However, I called the dealer I acquired my Golf R through (JCT Bradford) just now and they said as of last weekend they are no longer able to order Golf R's since production has been stopped...presumably due to all the delays with current production or due to the facelift coming next year. Bit annoying as I was keen to get anotherAlso got my extension quote today, £268 pm for 12 months and that's with no additional mileage (I.e. 20k over the 3 years) so not great either.

Its a fair point and, if it was for me, I would be agreeing. However, the specifier is the specifier!Craig said:

Oh dear, that sounds like bad news for me as I ordered one only two weeks ago. They've not had a lot to say other than that an order has been placed. I wouldn't be totally surprised if they turn around and tell me that I'll have to order something else....maccas99 said:

I realise this isn't a lease deal and it's not really a fair comparison, but I received this 'offer' today via email for a PCP deal on a bog standard 2 series oil burner. It boggles my mind that people would actually bite on a deal like that when way more interesting metal can be leased for less!
Rubbish deal as you say - my 240i was delivered yesterday via National Fleet Services.3+23 @ £389 for 10k miles p/a.
