That's with fleetsauce, albeit 12000 miles... is that still higher than others have got?

Excess mileage is 15.58p so £623 for an extra 4,000 miles if you went for a 2yr 10,000 mile deal.

I wonder if that's better than going for 12,000 at the outset?

That's a good question... time to dust off the calculator

Looks good enough to me on those miles. Been trying to get an SQ5 but they're just out of budget even with 20% off ... no standard cars now, just the Plus and Special Edition models. I'l have a look at the A4 Allroad but suspect an A4 S Line 272 3.0 tdi on 18k - 20k will do me just fine with at a similar cost to yours.
I looked at the A4 S Line too...actually comes out identical to the Allroad Sport...but it doesn't come with nav, or leather, or privacy glass...I decided to stick to the allroad smile Still can't decide whether to stick to the black plastic trim or pay the metallic premium and have it colour coded...

Yeh so i'm better off doing the 10k lease, then paying the penalty of I go over that... i've asked for an adjusted quote. Yours is done = and dusted, confirmed?

Is it Tom you were dealing with? I told him 'my mate has 350 a month', now he's asked for a name! I've just said its someone on a forum, but the price should be the price anyway I guess?! Fingers crossed

Ok... so he's saying 'that's really cheap, would need a name to check the quote'.. are you happy to DM me your name? If you think it risks them pulling the plug on your deal then I fully understand if you'd rather not..

Any chance you can share the same info with myself? I have an order with Tom but now gone back about this cheaper price. Be much appreciated.

First time leasing so.. be gentle or something.

Pulled trigger on Tiguan some months ago, so a progress update

Went with Select Car Leasing, deal was 9 + 23.

Tiguan 2WD SE Nav Manual, 8k mileage
Had extra options fitted - Active Info Display, Black Metallic, Rear Parking Camera (I know I know.. extra cost... things I wanted though)
Price is £259 per month incl maintenance, £2335.3 up front, Admin fee £234

(Without options price was ~£201 so am paying through nose for my love of gadgets. Costed up the next trim up to include Active Info, and it was £230, but would still have to pay for paint and Rear camera so not cheaper that way)

- 6th Sept pulled trigger
- Weekly email from Select stating "delivery est mid-late dec"
- 25th Oct email from VW finance to finalise paperwork, receive tracking number. Car has arrived in port.

(I could probably have shopped around and found better deals etc, but only found this thread after I'd ordered! Next time maybe...)

Resisting the options list is the way forward, for sure. Sounds like you've got the spec' you wanted though, so that's the important thing.

Don't go looking at the prices on offer for the same vehicle now, whatever you do.

I did it with my current lease car and sure enough I found cheaper deals once I was committed.

I went to buy the new tiguan (wifes kid bus) and got 10% off via carlow but still £36K. She had the previous model and that was worth about 10k so the dealer emailed me a typical quote 10k trade in, £407 over 36m and a 16k residual. So almost 20k cashflow over 24 months and maybe some equity but no guarantees really. I struggled with the price-sounded daft to me.

Spotted the lease deal and a fellow PHr kindly mailed me the contacts at CUVL. Ordered an R Line 4MT DSG which is well spec'd anyway. £2,400 IR +23X £216 incl. We have had it a week today. Light years ahead of the old model and a very nice steer. Mrs B is very pleased with it. £7600 odd all in over 24 months is a no brainer, So glad i cancelled the purchase. That would have cost at least twice as much maybe more

It's £773.77 over the term more than my lease...

Mine is £320 a month with £3600 deposit. I'll be paying for my options (£425 in total) in advance together with the deposit so making it just over £4k.

£12158.77 over the term for yours

£11385 over the term for mine

Hope that helps.
