Super cheap transport for those not needing to carry more than one other person.

Shame about the processing fee but they need to make a bit of money somewhere I guess!

Ok... anyone who's taken the s5 deal... does this look like what you were quoted?

£3419 up front
£379.99 a month
9+23

That's with solid paint, flat bottom wheel, virtual cockpit
It's £773.77 over the term more than my lease...

Mine is £320 a month with £3600 deposit. I'll be paying for my options (£425 in total) in advance together with the deposit so making it just over £4k.

£12158.77 over the term for yours

£11385 over the term for mine

Hope that helps.
Who you go with?

Fleet sauce paperwork through and they want 15% of car value if I cancel. Not sure I like that as anything could happen between now and March. 5% I would swallow, that seems realistic to cover their risk.

I don't get these comments. Anything could happen between now and March....ok, but how is that any different to the car being available now? You'd take delivery and anything could happen between now and March...and you'd be fully committed.

It's with Fleetsauce too. I guess if you've ordered the car then you should be committed to taking it come delivery time so I wouldn't worry about it personally!

However, you do have 7 days from placing the order with them to cancel without any cost to you so there's another option if you have second thoughts...

My advice - Sit back and watch those long winter nights tick by and before you know it it'll be February/March biggrin

Got an offer at just about the same figure as yours in the end... although the order form he sent me had sportback on it instead of coupe, but i'm hoping that was just an oversight. I doubt they work weekends so wont know until monday I guess....

Thanks for posting this deal - it's not exactly going to set the world on fire (14 seconds to 60??) but I am considering something like this for a 100 mile round trip daily commute, simply because it should (with luck) be pretty much the cheapest way of doing it.

But would it be decent on the motorway? And a country road??

I'd prefer something like a diesel Golf or a great deal on one of the ecoboost Fiestas, but there doesn't seem to be much out there deals-wise at the moment...

I was quoted the same as the above, it was also for the sportback, I specifically asked how much the coupe was and was told it is about £30 per month for the coupe.

There are some decent deals popping up on the Seat Ibiza FR if you fancy something with a bit more poke than the Smart, below is an example although I would not recommend this particular deal due to the low mileage allowance and long term

Its really annoying... the quote I was sent is for the coupe, which I happily accepted. When the application form was sent, it was for the sportback... by the time I saw it it was gone 5 so they'd gone home I guess, and wont be back until monday.

Funny thing is, the list price of the coupe is cheaper than the sportback, and the fleetsauce website has the coupe cheaper too...

The guy has been really helpful up to now so hopefully will be sorted on monday.

Not that I saw. Pity.

Seen a few 3+23 @ £233+VAT, but no 1+23 for the same £. I think his was aa CLA 220d as well.

I may well have given you duff information. The conversation I had wasn't with fleetsauce, it was with CVL, they were definitely advertising the coupe slightly more than the sportback, so if fleetsauce list the coupe as less on the website there is a chance your quote might just simply be right.

Fleet Sauce currently showing the Coupe on cheaper monthlies but it's 9+23 and 8k miles whereas the sportback is 6+23 and 10k miles.

Haha... is the leasing game always this confusing? I trust the guy to sort it to be fair.

It's been great posting on this forum... so refreshing to be able to ask questions and get answers from knowledgable people, without being made to feel like a moron...
