Yep, that's about what I'm payng for Gap cover of £10k, went with ALA using the Pistonheads discount and some price matching offers at the time.

Bear in mind that you can get initial rental cover as well for a fee, so if you're dicking out £000s in initial payments then it's worth covering that as well.

I wish I'd known about that before; I had my gap insurance, my excess is insured (ALA do that as well) but I've lost my 3 months up front, so the thick end of 1.5K.

You live and learn.

M140i 9mths initial rental 2yr deal for £254.10 inc vat.

8000mls per year.
I'd probably get that for the mrs, but the admin fee is astronomical. No chance.

Is the deal still cheap with the admin fee? It doesn't seem like a cheap runaround price unless your other car is an M5 or similar (and it's about average for a 140) but I'd not balk at paying a high fee if the car is genuinely cheap...

So... not an estate then? I did say "if you want an estate then it's not bad" smile

Honestly, you share something because it's a half decent deal that might be of some use to someone...... No it's not the best deal in the world but it's not bad.

M140i 9mths initial rental 2yr deal for £254.10 inc vat.

8000mls per year.
You can drop the initial rental to 3 or 6 months and it doesn't increase the cost disproportionately.

On the 3dr Nav Auto

3 + 23 @ 8000 miles = £8818.06
6 + 23 @ 8000 miles = £8818.14

Both prices inc admin fee.

The OTR price is £32k, without discounts, so the lease is approx 27%.

But you can get a 3dr Nav Auto M140i on PCP via TRL for £25.5k which makes the lease near 35%, so not a good deal if comparing against that. But that does depend on whether you want £25.5k of finance against your name and to keep the car for a few more years.

Does anyone know if there are any lease companies who don't show their offers on www.contracthireandleasing.com website, or can it be used as a one stop shop?

I know the insurance comparison websites don't show every insurer, so wondering if same situation.

After being delayed a few times, my bro has just been informed that his lease Cupra 290 Black is not turning up in the Dynamic grey colour he ordered, but white.

He isn't very happy about this, and neither are many of the other Cupra leasers who seem to be in the same boat. Apparently SEAT decided they didn't have enough Dynamic grey paint left or something, but didn't bother asking the customers which colour they would like.

Deals on the 150bhp 1.4 A4 are back by the look of it, on the Avant this time. 23% of list over the two years, not too shabby if you need a mid-sized estate. Decent enough spec too, Nav as standard, upgraded audio over the SE.

Not very good at all......
Not very good at all, he says, trying to put the forum off the scent whilst rushing to the phone hehe

£280 including VAT on a 1+23 seems like a pretty good deal to me.
Going off the previous 2k / 99pm deal on the 1.4. So......£5160 total against this 6720

That's a one-off for the life of the contract.

I think I calculated the A4 deal last Jan/Feb to be £227pcm all in so it is an increase but time has moved on and it is not a bad deal

Is that via the same provider as the gap insurance? My ex is about to take delivery of a Yeti on a very, very top-heavy deal so she would definitely benefit from this.

What is the extra cost of the initial rental cover and what is the extra financing cost of making it a 1+xx deal?
