What is the extra cost of the initial rental cover and what is the extra financing cost of making it a 1+xx deal?
I did it before and it was £25 to cover a £2k deposit.

For anyone thinking about saving some money and not taking GAP read on.......

I took out a lease on a Touareg R line list price £48500, up front was £2750

The car was 4 months old and had done 4k miles when it was stolen...see classic thread!

Car was not recovered & declared total loss 3 weeks ago, initial insurance valuation, pre negotiation was £28500........

GAP with ALA was £65 for the lease and £25 for the deposit

As an aside, got to love insurance companies, £28500 and 4 months old. Show me where I can get one at that price I'll have 2....

Which asshole insurer is that Burty? Shockingly low. They should pay out the cost to buy a new one which is circa 40k

I'm no expert but that looks ok to me.
As they're in stock, I seriously think I'll pull the trigger myself.
Was toying between this and a Superb SE Tech, but we have a dog and I'm worried about her in and out of a hatchback.

Just came across an Audi S5 Quattro (Sportback) on the following terms:

Deposit - £3000
Monthly - £350
Admin - £300
Mileage - 10k p/a

Anyone seen anything better than this. Seems fairly reasonable...
Who's this with? And does it include VAT?

Thanks.
Sorry for the late reply mate - through Car Leasing Online.

Would you have to pay the rest to make it up?

Thanks for the heads up I'll definitely be enquiring about GAP when I order.
