Hmm comparing a manual S3 with an Auto TT? It is very possible to get a manual, Quattro S3 but the auto (3dr) is quoted at 4.5 and the 5 door at 4.6 seconds. The manual times are 5.2 and 5.3 respectively. Think you should your homework actually!!

http://www.evo.co.uk/audi/s3/page/0/1
It is a topic of Lease Deals... So try to find S3 quattro auto for prices mentioned before and let me know, cause i wish to have it for that price.
Anyway it is weak that Audi allows normal cars to match any of S series versions...
Orrrr its just the gearbox choice when some folks prefer a manual. Or are you suggesting they should nerf the potential performance of the S-Tronic in the TT so its not as quick as the manual in the S3?

And should they also be ashamed that the TT is quicker than the S1?

Anyway, in line with this thread, here is an S-tronic Black Edition S3 Sportback, slightly more than the manual.

I have a question for the experienced leasers: How difficult is it to line up the end of 1 lease and the start (as in actual vehicle delivery) of your next lease?
I see quite a few posts and threads here about delays to delivery and being carless would be a pain...

Awesome, thank you smile

These are business only offers. The uplift on personal is c. £50 pm at 8k.
Really? Not just plus the VAT?

That's quite annoying...
Isn't it just? As I said earlier in the week, the proliferation of +VAT deals is just confusing but according to this helpful post...

It's a 20% markup ffs, we should all be able to do that in our head. And if not then you're staring at a computer which has a calculator and/or spreadsheet handy.

I'd guess that Honda (or whoever is financing the deals) is giving more support to business deals.

Although for the exact reason you'd have to talk to the finance company. I only made a quick phone call to get a quote for the civic and that's what I was told.

We work with Honda on deala like this, so we'll to add some clarity to this Business & Personal Lease issue.

It's nothing to do with how the car is used just how it's funded.

The strongest funder on this deal will only underwrite Business. So in order to supply personal rates you'll fine they use a different funder.

Clear as mud I know but I hope this helps.

FFS indeed. 99% of deals are just the VAT added for personal, as you well know.

Of course for any deals where there is a separate uplift for personal then this should always be called out, daft/inconsiderate not to, I agree.

Same with BMW's 'business only' deals, but again this only applies in a small number of cases.

Just to be clear, I post business deals as I am eligible for them. Apologies for those who are not, but I can't help in that respect. Others are of course free to post personal deals inc VAT.

I was told factory orders are 16-20 weeks. I don't need a car for 8 weeks but 16-20 is a long time!

from what Ive seen if it doesnt work out you can either hand back one car early or ask your lease co if they'll extend - is that right?

I had my change today, BCA pulled up to inspect and take away just as Listers delivered new - literally old reversed out and new straight into the same space!

This was all booked in and helped that the new car was in stock (ordered couple of weeks ago, standard spec).

For anyone interested it was bye-bye to a Mercedes C220 AMG line estate and hello to a Skoda Superb Sportline Estate)

Only had a drive back home on the M6 in rush hour so not a lot to say but first impressions very good, decent spec and happy with the styling (thumbs up for ACC and keyless entry, but will miss pano roof and reversing camera).

Be interested to know how the Superb compares to the Merc, I've ordered a hatch Superb 2.0 dsg and coming from a Lexus IS300h, so near silent car at low speeds to a noisey diesel. Also, bit worried about the size of the Superb, seems massive!

I tried them, after getting all excited at seeing their cheap ''nearly new'' Mercs advertised. Was quoted something like 10% below the best other offers on a C-class but with 30k on the clock. I politely declined.

They were responsive to emails, and seemed friendly/professional on the phone.

If you plan ahead you can get them to dovetail nicely; a couple of years ago I ended up with two SLKs for a day.
